1) 84 OVR - Robert Nkemdiche RE #90 - Ole Miss
Duh. The next “big” thing in the SEC.
2) 83 OVR - Laquon Treadwell WR #86 - Ole Miss
Considered by most to be the clear #1 WR in this class. Oxford rejoices with now having the best defensive AND offensive freshmen in the game.
3) 83 OVR - Jeremy Castro LOLB #10 - UCLA
Uh, what? Must have been a glitch in the matrix here. UCLA fans won’t complain.
4) 82 OVR - A’Shawn Robinson DT #54 - Alabama
The rich get richer. Bama adds another monster defensive linemen to their already stocked stable.
5) 82 OVR - Alex Collins HB #3 - Arkansas
Collins is a do-it-all running back that will flourish in the Razorbacks new offense.
6) 82 OVR - Carl Lawson LE #52 - Auburn
Will be a sack machine in the SEC in a few years. Like most defensive linemen in the SEC, Lawson is very fast.
7) 82 OVR - Dymonte Thomas FS #1 - Michigan
Very athletic defensive back that should cover most of the field.
8) 81 OVR - Vernon Hargreaves III CB #23 - Florida
The most complete corner in this year’s class. Great coverage ratings out of the gate.
9) 81 OVR - Derrick Henry HB #3 - Alabama
A monster running back that the rest of the SEC will hope gets buried in the depth chart at Bama. Don’t count on that happening.
10) 81 OVR - Eddie Vanderdoes LE #3 - Notre Dame UCLA
The now defected Notre Dame recruit takes his talents to the west coast.
11) 81 OVR - Mike Mitchell MLB #44 - Ohio State
Urban Meyer lands the most football ready inside linebacker in the nation.
12 ) 81 OVR - Derrick Green HB #3 - Michigan
The Wolverines are wild for what is believed to be the future of their offense in Ann Arbor.
13) 81 OVR - Alex Anzalone LOLB #34 - Florida
Hits like a linebacker, runs like a freight truck. Anzalone projects as a linebacker but was a 1000 yard rusher his senior year.
14) 81 OVR - Montravius Adams DT #99 - Auburn
Extremely explosive and strong (85) which means he will find his place collapsing pockets for the Tigers.
15) 81 OVR - Ricky Seals-Jones WR #4 - Texas A&M
The big-framed athlete has the physical tool set to be a #1 option for the Aggies.
Best of the rest:
