Sorry for the complications last week guys, and that i've been a bit out of pocket (been moving back to columbus the past couple of days). Let's get back into high gear and finish season 2 off strong. Decent week, but it's highlighted by one of the games of the season, The Worlds Largest Cocktail Party. Good luck to everyone.
Also, just one reminder that no one should be saving the dynasty file, at any time, except me. Thanks.

Well the tigers give Rs Fresh Zeke Pike the start while Frazier is hurt, Pike comes out and throws 2 INTS that lead to a Vandy 7-0 lead, needless to say he was on the bench befor the end of the 1st. In comes Mosley and he leads the Tigers on 5 straigh score drives before going to the bench late in the 3rd.. Frazier looks to be back next week and get the Tigers back on track and stable at the QB pos

First Half- Georgia got off to a slow start. Florida sacked Murray in the endzone for a safety. Georgia preceded to move the ball down the field on their next drive only to come up one yard short of the endzone. A field goal gave them a 3-2 lead. After that it was all Florida. The Gators scored 2 touchdowns and added a 39 yard field goal to close out the half. The score was 19-3 Florida and it seemed like a blowout was on the horizon.
Second Half- Georgia elected to kickoff in the first half so they received to open the second half. This was perfect. all they needed to do was score and it was a 9 point game. The true freshman Ross Williams received the kick, taking it up the middle of the field, then FUMBLE!! The ball was recovered by Florida. On the next play Brissett would connect with Jordon Reed for the 8 yard td pass. The score was now 26-3 Florida. This was it, if Georgia didnt score on this next drive the game was over.
Murray moved the ball down the field methodically hitting receivers and tucking the ball and running when no one was open. He would cap off the drive by throwing an 11 yard td pass to Bryce Schneider. Now Georgia's defense needed a stop. They got it when Brissett threw to the left side and was intercepted by Malcolm Mitchell. Georgia was in prime position to score and they did just that. Murray connected with TE, Ty Smith for an 18 yard td pass. The score was now 26-17. Trailing by 9 Georgia needed some more good defense. They got it when Brissett looked deep and was intercepted again, this time by Michael Deas. Georgia failed to capitalize on the drive and was forced to punt the ball back to the Gators. Florida was driving, but Brissett decided to scramble and fumbled the ball! Georgia recovered and now needed Murray to produce another score. Moving the ball down the field Georgia would score again. Ty Smith receiving a pass from Murray for a 4 yard score. The game was now 26-24 Florida. A once 23 point lead had evaporated to a 2 point lead for Florida. The 4th quarter started and Florida still struggled to move the ball. They were forced to punt and Georgia got the ball back with a chance to take the lead. Murray, once agian moved the ball down the field. This time Kieth Marshall on a 3rd and goal would take the pitch left and score on a 3 yard run! Georgia took the lead 31-26! The atmosphere was lively. Gator fans could not believe it. Florida still had an opportunity to answer. Brissett moved the ball down the field. Connecting on a 3rd and long and then a few plays after that throwing the ball over the middle for a 49 yard score. Georgia players could not believe what had just happened. They had all the momentum, they had outscored Florida in the mid to late 4th, 28-0. Florida retook the lead, 33-31. They decided to not go for two and with a little over a minute left Georgia had an opportunity to win on a field goal. Murray once again moved the ball down the field. But on a 2nd and 11 he was sacked. On the next play, a 3rd and 19 he threw across the middle and it was tipped away. On 4th down, and the last chance for Georgia, he overthrew is intended target. The game was over. Florida ran the clock out. Both teams were plagued by bad play in this game. Georgia was plagued by dropped passes and 1 key turnover. Florida was plagued by a whole lot of turnovers. Good game to both teams!
    Florida - 33 Georgia - 31

    Longhorns Demolish Cyclones 41-7
The Texas Longhorns dominated in all three phases of the game as they played host to 14th-ranked Iowa State. Iowa State's only score came on a 92-yard fumble return as the Horns were driving for what would have been their second score of the game. The Texas offense came right back onto the field and answered though to regain the lead at 14-7 and momentum was right back in their favor. On the closing play of the first half, Iowa State tried a long FG that came up short in the rainy conditions and Texas CB Carrington Byndom was able to return it 106 yards for a TD. After that monster play, Texas never looked back as Iowa State never reached the red zone until late in the game agains the second-string defense. Texas HB Malcolm Brown again received the Player of the Game Award as he rushed 24 times for 158 yards and two touchdowns.
Next week, Texas will make the short trip to Waco, TX for a rivalry matchup against the Baylor Bears.
