Tiger Woods PGA TOUR 13 : Demo is released, watch in HD !!!

The Tiger Woods PGA TOUR 13 Demo dropped this morning and I’ve had a chance to play a few rounds. I recorded my 3rd round on Custom Difficulty level. I used Tournament diffuculty (expert) but allowed swing plane view and putt preview. The first 2 rounds I played awful, but I’m starting to get the hang of it.

The game seems to be extremely rhythm based, which is a breath of fresh air. I’m still working on all the different shot types, but it does not appear this game will be extremely easy. Maybe I’m just being hopeful, but don’t let my last hole on this video fool you… it’s been my best out of 9.

You have to be extremely quick on the sticks on expert and I’m having a difficult time with my short game because it doesn’t have much feel to it sometimes… just all about how quick you do the stick. Again, these are very initial impressions so I might not be doing everything right or utilizing all of the control options yet (in fact I know I’m not). Despite that though, the game has a real organic feel when grippin’ and rippin’.. you must be straight on the sticks as I’ve been hooking it a little and it’s been extremely punitive.
