Thanks for sharing, Try. I'm going to merge your thread with our existing thread so everything is in one place.
Really good idea you presented. The fact that it flows with the current 5 stage process already in the off season makes it seem it would be easier to input. The only problem with the potential rating, is how do they determine who is going to excell and who isn't on the initial rosters? I think a work ethic rating would be easier to denote ... but it hits that initial problem too. Would love to hear the suggestions.
He just quit being lazy. Also, I think Rodgers stopped trying to throw him balls he didn't have the ability to catch (i.e. over the shoulder).
I think that the development should be a combination of a players work ethic , % of snaps played, position coach/coordinators development rating, production, and potential.
I like that. That works, but again who determines the potential for the guys on the initial rosters? Do the developers just assign them randomly at the beginning of each dynasty (this to me would solve the issue)? Or do they research the players and use the composite star ranking or something similar of each kid?
Oh and I forgot, it would include the offseason reps you give each player based off the authentic offseason additions above.
I'd take about 50 other commish controls before that one. You can advance from the web, so... The community needs sim wins and losses!
You wouldn't have to worry about getting on the computer if you're out on the weekends idk it was just a suggestion ...
So being able to assign a loss or a win to a user? Why do you want this? Not saying I wouldn't, but I am curious. I think this would have created and solved problems for the od's I ran/running.
I just explained why you need it. I think NBA2k13 has it this year. Say you and I are playing a game and you are beating my ass late in the 4th quarter 27-6. We get disconnected with :45 left in the game. Historically we would either have to play the game again or sim it. Most people elect to sim it since user games take forever in most leagues. And it seems like it never fails that the user who was winning would end up losing in the sim (especially since a lot of leagues set up the least talented players with the stronger CPU teams). With the commish ability to sim certain results, he could just set you to up for a sim win. Everyone is happy.
I posted this in a Madden thread but I wanted to add it here as well.. Situational play-calling that would coincide with the gameplan that you drew up that week.. If the offense comes out in formation "X" on a certain down and distance, you would have only a select few plays to choose from based on how you tailored your gameplan.. If you draw up a shitty gameplan then you will pay the price... Only in a video game are players prepared EVERY WEEK to run EVERY PLAY.. Add this to the Dynasty and leave the arcade gameplay for the lobby players.. Pipe dream: Theater mode to watch film on your opponent to add depth to the gameplan feature..
