Haven't been to a game at Alfond since I picked up my ring in the 1993-94 season. Walshy and I weren't on the best of terms for a while. I've seen them in the HEA playoffs in Boston a few times. I post quite a bit at USCHO (US College Hockey Online) and listen to most games online. I might try to get up to a game this season. I would like to wring the neck of the genius in the AD office who put the hockey team in East Lansing during Homecoming. It would have been perfect to have a football game sandwiched between the two hockey games against UND.

Thanks for the welcome. So far everyone has been really nice, and the posters incredibly knowledgeable.

Ok so I passed through here and decided it was finally time to post a get to know ya about me...

I am 27 years old and have a wife who is understanding when it comes to my football addiction. I love all levels of the game, and the sports games seem to be the only ones that hold down my attention. We recently had our first child, 9 months ago...and she is a massive handful. That means I have a built in excuse for my record in my leagues (jk). But she does like to climb all over me during those big time games, and not so much on the games against the CPU. I run my own construction (electrical) contracting business, and it has it's ups and downs. The greatest perk of all is the freedom.

When it comes to this league I have talked with people that are on this board. Some I have played against before I even joined. The main reason I even joined was to be in a community where there was more respect and courteous than those offsite leagues. I was actually in a pretty good league where things got salty, and Emmdot recommended me here. The more I lurked(yes I did this cardinal sin) the more I truly see how you guys worked here.

Now, I have always bled blue, and when you live in the great state of Texas you all know what that means. I am a true Cowboys fan, Rangers fan, Mavericks fan, and you can throw the Longhorns in that mix. I live about 30 mins from the new stadium and try to go as much as I can afford..haha..

    I'll post some pics soon

I know you posted earlier that you live 35 minutes from Bluffton, but I didn't realize you were from Kenton until now lol. My roommate graduate from there in 06, so he's a few years younger than you. And actually I played soccer with a kid from Kenton that graduated in either 04 or 05, so you might have been a senior his freshman year. Its crazy how small of a world it is though lol.

Name: Joshua Evans (my tf name is my first and middle and year I was born)
Age: if you were too lazy to do the math I'm 22 years of age
    Locale: Knoxville, TN

Guys, I'm fairly new to TF, but you can mark it I'll be around for a long time. Like I said my name is Joshua. My personality is kind of tri-polar.

One aspect of me is extremely nerdy. I read books like crazy. I got a scholarship even for the amount of books that I read. Apparently they were monitoring my library card and I quentupled the next closest student, lol. My favorite book is Moby Dick and/or Brothers Karamazov. I'm a big Melville and Dostoevsky fan. The nerdiness paid off. I graduated magna cum laude with a degree in political science (international relations emphasis) and pre-law.

    2nd side

I work out a lot. Health and fitness is huge to me. I eat like 12 eggs every morning with 4 slices of wheat toast and a protein shake (and glutamine, creatine, arginine). So I love fitness...especially hitting the weights heavy. And not one of those guys who go in their throw on way more than they can do and make them self look extremely foolish. I played Linebacker in school and SS in college for a short stint (Tennessee Tech). I have been a jiujitsu practitioner for 8 years and have boxed for about 4. My dad was a marine so there was no choice in my house: fight or get destroyed, lol.

    3rd side:

I am a loving husband and son. I love Jesus Christ more than anything. And I love my wife like crazy.

Furthermore, I love football. I'm a huge Vol fan (if you couldn't tell from my avatar) and I love the Atlanta Braves. I was born in the wrong decade because ten years ago both these teams were powerhouses, but they will bounce back there is no doubt about it.

*TIME TO PLAY THE GAME...TIME TO PLAY THE GAAAAAMMEEEE!!!*

My name is James Bishop from a little town in Southeast Iowa, born, raised and lived here all my life. I've been to 48 states (Hawaii and Alaska being the 2 I haven't) and still would rather be here. Although I must say, Denver is beautiful and someday hope to live somewhere up in the mountains in a cabin.

I have a girlfriend named Shayla. She doesn't like gaming much but doesn't mind watching me attempt to play lol.

I'm 26. I went to college for 5 years majoring in about everything until I gave up because of too many interests and not enough in 1 category. I've done accounting, Phys. Ed, Massage Therapy, Personal Training, Broadcasting, Computer Programming, and messed around with some Web Design/Coding.

Only "major" sports that don't interest me much are NHL and NBA, other than that I'm a big sports fan. I've played all sports in high school except wrestling. But obviously love the WWE and regret not doing it.

Currently I help my brother out with his daily needs as he is a quadriplegic from a car accident my family was involved in in Feb 2005. I get some support money from the Medicaid Waiver and yes, I still live with my mom, LOL. Other than that, it's music (rock), computer/PS3 games, TV, movies, etc. I refuse to grow up and stay young at heart. I haven't drank alcohol in 5 years.

That pretty much sums me up. Here are some pics:

Yeah I was a body builder for a while. This is me in my best shape in Spring 2007.

That's my brother Jordan who is 23 and my sister Jillian who is 21. I love my family for sure!

    Hometown: Parker, Colorado

Let's see, I'm fairly new to being active on this site. I'm a huge sports junkie and my life basically revolves around sports in someway. I grew up in Parker, Colorado which is just a bit south of Denver, boring town....a lot of the things built are centered around little kids which leaves teenagers with little to do other than party or chill at Sonic on Friday nights....before partying. I grew up loving the Colorado Buffaloes and am the 4th generation person in my family to attend CU. I'm currently undecided but I will be applying to go the Business school next fall to focus on Information Systems and possibly a minor in Economics. I haven't missed a CU home football game since 1995. I grew up playing year round sports and I didn't have a season off for 10 years or so. I played on a traveling baseball team from when I was 9-14 and played in my local youth league from 5-8. That would last from February to late August then right after that I would start football and then basketball. I never grew and had 4 concussions in two years playing lacrosse in high school and quit sports. Now I like to go to the gym and hang out with friends.

Here's some pictures from last summer at my graduation dinner, I've gained roughly 20 pounds since then, but with minimal fat.

Good shit man, welcome aboard (even though it's been awhile). Good luck at CU and good luck with the business program. I go to Penn State University, also one of many from my family to do so, as well as a die hard Nittany Lions fan since I was born, and I major in Energy Business and Finance with a degree option in Geographical Information Systems. Economics is a bitch, for me anyway, but if you can handle it all the power to you. The more you do in school to set yourself apart the better. I was originally doing EBF General, but looking into it Information Systems was more my route and more specialized. Slightly heavier work load, but bigger pay off. Good luck.

And the 98 year old great grandmother...that is absolutely awesome! My late great grandmother died a couple years ago and she was about 92...they have seen so much in life, so to hear the stories they have is truly a blessing. God bless her man, that's great!

Hey everyone i probably should have done this a while ago. I have been in the East coast brawl with @BDSDIGITAL since last year. It was my first and only league that i participated in (i get my ass beat at home if i spend too much time on the box)+ I like to put all of my video game effort into. This was required by @Tretrain26 @TheBl0nderedhead @smlVICTORIES53 lol inside joke

About me....I am 36 and did my undergrad and master's at WVU. Undergrad is in Biology Master's in Industrial Hygiene (OSHA Stuff). Original plan was med school but I was too lazy im just glad i figured that out before i started and pissed away a bunch of money. I played lacrosse in high school and two years of community college soccer.

I'm not married but I have a GF that I have been with since 2004 we have 2 dogs (buster - the beagle basset hound and some other stuff and Betsy - black lab mix).

Looks like it is my turn as I just stumbled on this part of the site. Yes, I am a retard.

Anyways, I am 28, and I live in Chicago, IL. I am originally from Santa Clarita, CA which is a suburb of LA. I lived there for 20+ years before I moved out here for work. I graduated in 2004 from Cal State University Northridge with a degree in Business Administration with an emphasis in Marketing. I currently work for a prop trading firm downtown Chicago in procurement but have always been involved and interested in the IT side of the house. The goal is this year I am going to be moving to the Data Center team to help design and maintain our datacenters all over the world. I have always been a gamer, and started getting into different leagues around the nets back when I was in college. I have played sports as well growing up (Baseball and football), nothing past high school though. I definitely a sports junkie though, and those are really the bulk of games that I play consistently.

I am into music (punk rock is my fav) and play the guitar and bass. I was in bands throughout high school and college, but just haven't had the time to continue to do it. I have a girlfriend, we've been dating for 2 1/2 years now and we live together. I have an awesome dog, she's a lab and shep mix and her name is Stella (after the beer). In my free time now I am either gaming, playing golf, running, watching sports on TV, or at the bar. I am currently involved in the Tradition Futbol League (premier and club), Tradition Golf, and looking into getting into a Tradition NCAA league now. I have been involved in a Madden league as well.

Sports wise, I am mainly an LA sports fan. I like the Lakers, Dodgers, and Galaxy. For hockey, I am a big BlackHawks fan, always have been even living in LA. Loved Belfor, JR, Cheli, etc... On the NFL side I love the Washington Redskins (long story as to why). NCAA wise I am an Irish fan (dad is an irish catholic and I just followed suit on his team).

Did I mention I like to party?

Just found this thread, only been on TSO for a few months so not too many people know me, thought this might help me get a look in premier draft soon ;)

So ..... My name is Dan , I am 33yrs old and live in Columbus, Ohio , 3 time college drop out, 1 1/2 time high school drop out (long story ) . Was a bad kid, got in my share of trouble, partied a TON when I was younger. Now my life consist of hanging out with my girlfriend , work, not much partying other than beer or two , golf, and video games ( not in that order to her disliking ) .Currently working in tech support for a major cell phone company, hate my job but the money is good and so are the benefits for someone without a college degree. I have been playing video games and sports as long as I can remember , as I have gotten older it seems like I am still good at video games and not so good at sports anymore , except golf which I have picked up 6 years ago. I was lucky to play with and against some pretty decent athletes in high school, I can proudly say the only 3 men to ever dunk on me at regulation height all played major college basketball and one in the NBA for a while ( John Carson, Univ of Cincinnati , Jason Collier Univ of Indiana & GA Tech & ATL Hawks , both sadly R.I.P. , and former NCAA Div-2 2000 player of the year Ajumu Gaines who is all of 5'11 and dunked all over my goofy white ass lol ) I also was a martial arts junkie and practiced for about 4 years ( Hawaiian Kempo 3 years , Aikijutsu / Aikido ) but have not practiced in 6years now, love MMA since day 1 and love kung fu flicks btw.

I do not play much hoops these days, golf more of my thing. I play on golf channell amatuer tour, lots of fun to play agains other guys of same skill ( or lack there of at times ) and see how I stack up. Photo of my win last year with a career low score ( despite a Greg Norman like choke job on 18 )

I so far have enjoyed my time here at TSO , most of the guys I have played with have been pretty cool . Hope to join a few more NCAA dynasties and maybe even return to the Madden after a 7 year lay off later this year, currently playing the Tiger in the TGA tour as well, anyone who wants to play a round just HMU sometime.

It's not a bad town, well it's great actually but they neglect teenagers when building things so there's a lot of kid play grounds but no stuff for teenagers to do but it has good food places and the people are nice.

im from long beach, california but moved here to houston last august. im 27 yrs old...and i do nothing but work (TSA) and play basketball for my houston blue devils team when im not at home on my video games. Before moving to houston i worked in the music industry with my boy Glasses Malone who is signed to Cash Money/Universal i produced some records, did some music videos, and a lot of the dirty work like promotion, making calls, etc. Got to travel a lot of places, meet tons of celebs, never spent a dime...a great life experience! When I found this site i thougt it was the best thing ever! lol just what i wanted...joined and got into some leagues..had a couple issues and got bumped...was granted access to come back but soon after i did through the Real men of genius league i had been a 2 yr member of...my apt here burned down and i lost everything i owned. It was a crazy experience but its apart of me...

Sports wise im a Duke baksetball fan, Lebron fan (so naturally im a heat fan now), Raiders fan, USC Football fan, and Tampa Bay Rays fan.

My alma mater is CSULB or Long Beach St altho i did not get my degree there lol
