@Shaun Mason I cannot get this to work as well. This is the link it generates for me https://spreadsheets.google.com/spr...S2lnRThSRGtCX0E&single=true&gid=0&output=html
I broke the Spreadsheet media code on purpose. To fix: Edit the [ media=googledoc ] to [ media=googlesheet ]
Maybe and No. The first would be on the Google side, but I think you could just create a second "tab" and only show what you want to be visible via cell linkage, then only publish that tab. The second is because we have to iframe the content, so I have to set a size.
Gotcha, thanks! I'm running a dynasty report and the google spreadsheet is awesome but its a bit bulky for my purposes. I guess Ill brush back up on making tables....which I used to know pretty well lol
Could be pretty helpful, some of my sheets are long hamburger wise (stat keeping) and some are long hotdog wise (40 match schedule). Even with my rudimentary knowledge of code I know it would be ridiculously hard to have the embed show up with editable height/width.
To add a map like this above recruiting tables. To follow where the recruits sign by Top 100 or a team map. Here is an example: http://maps.google.com/maps/ms?msid...=37.926868,-94.482422&spn=38.425569,79.013672
http://maps.google.com/maps/ms?msid...=37.857507,-98.613281&spn=38.459156,79.013672 http://maps.google.com/maps/ms?msid...=38.891033,-87.802734&spn=19.084024,39.506836 http://maps.google.com/maps/ms?msid=217935611771578918691.000461bb6dc4d95ace525&msa=0 http://maps.google.com/maps/ms?msid=217935611771578918691.0004689422fc34e16d5f5&msa=0
Yes I can, no problem. Google made it more difficult last year by just adding more work to the steps but it is pretty straight forward. Go to maps.google.com and sign in. Click on My Places and then Create New Map. Edit the name to whatever i.e. 2011 Top 100 Recruits. So look at the Top 100 recruit board on the console and say the #1 Overall guy is a CB from Cincinnati, OH. -Type Cincinnati, OH in the search bar. -Click on the A symbol then click save to maps. -Select save to 2011 Top 100 recruit board. -Click back on my places and the map you've created. -Click the edit button. -Click on the marker for Cincinnati, OH -Click on Plain Text option if it is not already selected. Click ok when it says some formating may be lost. -In the Title Box place the players name i.e. Joshua Baldwin. -Then in the description box I add all this info but you can put in whatever info you want for the recruit. - 5 Star - 5'11" 172 lbs. - Position: CB - Position Rank: #1 - Overall Rank: #1 - Cincinnati, Ohio - Signed with Purdue in week 9 of 2011 -When a player signs with a team I change the icon to the teams logo by clicking on it, add an icon the put it the url of the logo (will give address at end of this) Just repeat this process for every recruit. It does take some time to complete but I think it adds a great element to personal recruiting summaries for the league or as a whole top prospects collaboration for the dynasty. I get the logos from by going to espn.com than NCAA BB. Click on scores. Then go back to a date and just search for the team your looking for on the scoreboard. Then right click on the image and open it for the url. http://scores.espn.go.com/ncb/scoreboard?date=20101222&confId=2 Right click on the Miami logo and just add that if Miami signed a recruit. If you have anymore questions just ask. blLL flo also worked on this so he might be able to add some more info.
It is REALLY easy! Clutch brought that idea to Benchwarmers and a few of us jumped on it. Atta boy Clutch!
