Did anybody who watched that game come away as impressed with Kaylee Hartung (sideline reporter) as I did? She provided great info, asked great questions during the interviews, and even "listened in" on some conversations to give some insight on what was going on with Manziel's knee. She also happens to have a face that reminds me of candy. RynoAid Drifterbub @otherA&Mfans MaxATX34 you have probably seen her on the Longhorn network... PS are you still alive after the TCU game? Wrists unslit?
Realistically, Te'o has a few things going for him. He's a senior (for some voters this is a big deal) Mystique of what a good player he's perceived to be Notre Dame Unbeaten Notre Dame When you see an INT like the one he made yesterday that really has to impress people... You just don't see MLB make that play very often. On the other hand, Luke Kuechly had a much better year statistically last year and didn't sniff the award. If he didn't deserve it, I have a hard time seeing how Te'o does. Manziel is phenomenal. I see comparisons to a lot of QB's, the one I think is the most similar despite his superior speed is Roethlisberger. He's a smaller, faster Big Ben. His ability to keep the play alive is uncanny, in the same sense as Big Ben. I don't see the Flutie or Tarkenton comparisons at all, he's way more physically gifted than either of them.
My only argument in support of Teo is the comparison between his stats and the year that Charles Woodson won it. Apples and oranges I know. And Woodson was also a good returner.
Hellisan my wrists are fine. cant say the same for Texas' QBs. Hartung is cute but she has a weird eye thing going on. Of course, I still would...
Proof.... ? I don't think Te'o will have the measurables of Kuechly and the kid is having a nice rookie year so far, we will see if Te'o is as good as him.
