Late Summer/Fall Tour Interest

Hey all -

I just want to gauge the interest in a late summer/fall tour.

This wouldn't anything special, no fedex standings, nothing like that. But just for fun.

I'd have weekly and/or a few daily tournaments set up across the CCs (I'll need help for the PS3 and the other 360 CC for collecting scores). It would stay as Tournament Swing and most of the tournaments would have the green grid and swing meter on. However, I would plan on possibly a few tournaments without them as well, just to mix it up.

I MIGHT keep track of average finish and I might also include a handicap leaderboard. Perhaps.

However, there has to be enough interest for me to do this. I'm looking for at least 20 participants. More would be great.

Keep in mind, we are entering prime sports gaming season. NCAA13 is out today, Madden13 comes August 28th, NHL13 comes out September 11th, and FIFA comes out September 25th. I personally will be purchasing NHL13, but still plan on participating in this tour (obviously!).

So please, let me know what you think.

Count me in...im still playing daily as a member of Bushwood. NCAA will slow how much I play down, but I can still find time for some golf.

I would definitely take part in this. Such a shame that interest died down so much that the idea of an actual organized TSO event won't take place.

I would like to play as well. I had to miss the last couple of tournaments this past season and also got off to a slow start which definately hurt my standings. Also, I won't be purchasing any of the afore mentioned sports games, so I should be able to get some decent rounds of golf in. Thanks for trying to get something organized.

Surprised we haven't seen at least a bit more action on this poll, but it's all good. If there is a fall tour, it won't start until late August. I'll keep checking back to see what the results are as we get closer.

So far the results don't make me want to put forth the effort, but we'll see.

Probably in. PS3. Most seem to be XBox.

Guys...it's mid-August and it has become painfully obvious to me that TW has taken 2nd, 3rd, or even 4th fiddle to other games. Even I haven't played it in about 2 weeks. NHL comes out in 3 weeks and looks awesome and will likely take a lot of my gaming time as well. (More than I had thought it would).

What I'm trying to say is that not only will I not be able to administer a fall tour, but to me it does not seem like participation numbers will be that high.

I agree. Coincidentally, I have been considering trading in my copy before it isn't worth anything anymore. You know, it's sad really, that some easy fixes would have kept my interest in this game for much longer than it has. I would like to say that I will see you guys next year, but actually I think I will be much more skeptical about making a purchase of TW. It was nice playing with you all, and thank you for allowing me to be part of this tournament.
