Here is my most recent list of additions needed:

    CCM
    • Audibles/Hot Routes/etc work in CCM practice mode
    • Ability to see who has played games, what score was and to throw out results for commish
    • Allow users to change their run/pass and aggressive/conservative settings at any time (helpful when needing to sim games)
    • Have a league transactions list that shows every player cut/traded/signed/etc., all sortable by team
    • Create a list of what owners have joined/left the league as well as what teams they have taken over/retired from
    General

    • Run out the clock feature (could still be useful even when accel clock is properly functioning)
    • Improved collision animation
    • Have the player's name and OVR freeze when scrolling right on roster screen so that they are always visible

Well just to add. The Compare feature on the CCM Website is amazing. Any chance that goes into the game?

I would like to see the ball hawk feature done away with. I feel it is too much of an exploit.

Personally, I would like to see the franchise mode (or connected careers) in madden 13 to go with some of the off - season options of improving the home team's off field aspects just like they did in madden 2005. Tying in more stadium and team improvements could lead to more options for the User during the off season and make them feel like they are in charge of not only on the fiel matters, but things that happen off the field as well. I would also like to see EA bring back simple things that have been in Madden for years such as, FANTASY DRAFT, IMPORT NCAA DRAFT CLASSES, EDITING OF PLAYERS, Etc. In franchise mode I like to be able to edit my teams appearance. I feel like they should just put MORE into the connected careers and let the options be able to be turned on or off. I would like to see the game that Madden 13 is today (gameplay wise) stay nearly the same, the new engine that they used is absolutely geniuse. Just keep adding features instead of taking them away, just allow people to choose wether they want to keep them in the game or not.

Imagine a madden 14 where you can go into connected careers and have a full scale of duties that a head coach has as well as an NFL owner has. Where you can customize your team (within NFL guidelines) but also have to worry about how much your team is spending as well as what your team is making.

Last but not least, I would like to have to be concerned with my fan base. If they could put SOMETHING that measures how your fans are responding to your weekly/monthly/ yearly/ or overall successes or failures. In real life, Owners not only have to make the players happy, but the people who pay to watch the team they love play.

    Just my thoughts. Thanks

I would also like to see the return of lead blocking where you could tell your lead blocker who to block..

Oh, I agree completely. Run blocking needs work, especially with the fullback. It's gotten so bad I just go one back/ace. I didn't like the lead blocking control, but it might just be me. Never hurts to give people options.

This will be a short list, might add to it as I go along. Just shootin' from the hip right now.

    1. The ability for formation subs, other than 'in-game' because those take time and with a fast paced User v User game, you might not have the time to do it. I know I've made a mistake trying to rush it b/c I didn't want CPU to pick the play for me. Also, for people who might run a multiple look defense, ala the New England Patriots, they may want a particular DE to be at ROLB on the 3-4 look, but back on the line for the 4-3 look.

    2. Adding tipped balls at the L.O.S. I may have just not played it enough to see this, but with Pass Trajectory being within the game, I'd figure to see those big DEs swatting a ball near the backfield, having that ball just sail up and have everyone holding their breathe. Something that's common, that would add a little more sense of realism. When someone is running slants a lot, for instance(which we're all here to avoid,) a DE with great Play Recognition and/or Awareness might get his hands up to deflect that pass.

I would like to have more options to control the league for commissioners. Specifically, I would like to have the ability to clear cap penalties and possibly an option when creating the league to set a threshold (say 80 OVR) for releasing a player. For example, if I set it at 80 OVR then any time a player that is 80 OVR is attempted to be released I have to approve or deny it. If I deny it, they stay on their team.

I just had a guy quit and release all of his top players creating $63M in cap penalties. There needs to be safeguards in place to prevent and/or fix things like this when they happen.

Unless you are able to turn it off somehow in madden 13, please do away with the man align thing for madden 14. If i pick a zone play and my opponent is in a twin set formation, i dont want to both my cbs on one side, it screws with the zone coverage and leaves the other side open. I would rather have my guy on the other side to protect a toss/stretch, etc.

I haven't found a way to turn it off where it would leave my guy over there, if there is a way, let me know. I understand the point is to not give away the defense especially if a guy puts a man in motion from a two wide i form set into a twin i form set, but you got to give the ability to keep it the way it is, especially in zone.

i think the man align should be the way it was in the ps2 days, man align whether man or zone defense, they stay put, the coverage assignment changes if a man is in motion from one side or the other. If a guy is in twin set, should be able to man align off and let the cb on the other side take the TE and the LB on the other side assign to the slot receiver.

Another thing is the ability for interceptions, need to get rid or limit the over the shoulder hop step pick while trailing a wr. Rarely would you see a cb trailing a wr pick off a ball going over the shoulder, they are behind the wr and usually try to jump and knock it away. This animation is unrealistic and results in a lot of ints when it should be a swat.

Also, the catch button on defense is over powered, al you have to do is get near the ball, strafe, hold down the catch button, and your db with speed up or warp to the ball and get into position unrealistically. Tone that down. I remember back in the day, you had to press as the ball got there, that was a challenge, cuz if you miss, you were screwed. Getting ints should be a challenge, not easy accelerating and holding the catch button

If you want your corner to stay on the other side, just pick Base Align. The defense will go to the base set - what you see when you pick the play. Keep in mind this has it's weaknesses too.

    MORE STATS
-Remember when it gave you an option to scout opponents and it told you what your opponent likes to do? then you could jump in and practice against a teams favorite play on offense and defense and it would give you a awr bump when they called it in game?
Shouldn't really be to hard to log each games performance and it would help commishes see what people are doing.

    -WR Targets
Shouldn't be to hard either since the cpu knows what button you push. shouldn't have to calculate rec+drops(which isn't in madden for some reason). Not to mention there are incompletions that the intended WR doesn't drop.

    -QB hits(for both sides)
my QB has been sacked 31 times in 8 games i know he's taken alot more hits.
    -QB pressures
would like to know if my guys are getting close.

Why would you have graphics and other features universal ???....just because they are both football games they are not automatically the same. They are both different and distinct in their own ways

as for no huddle I'd like the see the option to call 2-3 plays when you start no huddle....thats generally what they do in the NFL. No huddle is generally scripted. In fact years ago in Madden you had the option to call 2 plays a back up by holding the trigger and press the button and then you choose your normal play. Don't remember if it was called hot audibles or something.

So you propose that one game look worse that the other graphically, just because they're unique? Because Madden looks WAY better than NCAA graphically. In fact, as I posted in the NCAA wishlist thread, the way players look in Madden (especially QBs) look closer to how NCAA teams look in real life versus how NFL teams look in real life (given all the new "techfit" uniforms and stuff).

As for some features being universal, it could cut down on confusion with controls, among other things. For example, the audible system is the same as the "classic Madden 10" audible controls that Madden STILL offers as an alternative to the Strategy Pad.

I also believe the no-huddle system present in NCAA should be considered for Madden, just on the fact that the current no-huddle system limits your playcalling and basically reduces you to hot-routing a lot to avoid running the same plays. Calling a default audible can put players out of position (ex. a FB at the slot or a WR at TE, or a WR at HB).

I wouldn't mind it being limited though.

As mentioned I'd like to see schemes be more than essentially just aesthetics like they are in this game. this was probably the one thing I was most disappointed about in Madden 13 - all the fluff about schemes really turned out to be BS and a gimmick.

Instead give it some teeth. something like this ...

    - As it is now, you say what type of player your prefer at each position and how important it is. You'd have only a certain amount of stars you're able to give out on each side of the ball. This would determine your team's scheme.

    - The plays, formations and sets in your playbook would be directly linked to those answers. The stars would dictate the number of plays specifically for that player that are in your playbook. And the type of player would dictate the actual plays, formations and sets available.

    - Create a system similar to the chemistry one used in FIFA. Players who match the type of player you wanted at that position add to chemistry. As do players who also match your scheme. and bonuses would be given for players who match that are next to each other on the field.

(Unlike FIFA, chemistry would give bonuses to mental skills like production, awareness, consistency, etc. and not speed and more physical skills).

So doing this means teams would be setting their scheme, having that scheme directly impact their playbook (so it really is a scheme on the field), and gives bonuses to players and groups of players who match the scheme (so you really have scheme players and a reason to pick say an 80 overall player instead of a 90 overall that doesn't match).

I think blocking needs an overhaul. I'd almost rather see the offensive line/defensive line interaction and play art look like the defense does. i.e. line from Center to who he's blocking, guards to who they're blocking, TE to who he's blocking, etc. And you can also have zone blocking schemes as well. And then the QB and set the "Mike" to move the blocking around. This would also allow for double teaming.

    - Probably better suited for online, but the ability to make a draft board in case you aren't at the draft. Whether it's just ordering all the guys you scouted, in order of preference, or selecting them one by one. Similar to the recruiting board in NCAA, in which you can order by 'priority.'

I know this may be crazy but how bout an expansion mode? The ability to make an expansion team. Create your team, create your uniforms, get the first draft pick, hire your staff, locate where ever you choose, comb FA for talent, and build YOUR organization from the ground up. Of course that would stretch the division so how they would decide that is beyond me except to let you choose or split the US into 4 quarters. You choose AFC or NFC and then depending on your location decides N,S,E, or W. In the past you could create a team and replace a current one and take them through franchise but this would pit you against all 32 teams for the length of your franchise. Everyone wants realism? That is as real as it gets in a virtual world. You want total control? Done! Editing would be a must to insure number mixups and such. Of course this would only be an offline additions because online a 64 team league is not possible and there would be no FA. This is just an idea. This is a wish list aint it? Go big or go home.

Intelligence and player skill needs to play a bigger part in this game. Speed kills in this game too many times. Guys constantly hitting the edge because they know that they have that advantage. You guys see how Charles Tillman took CJ out of his game Monday Night. Calvin is much faster than Tillman, but Tillman kept him in check. Tillman gets beat time and time again in this game.

    Shouldn't need a slider adjustment.

I'll be sure to sneak into my commissioner's XBox and adjust the sliders to my liking.

It's Madden. They way it always has been. Sliders keep AI in check. If u don't like it bitch elsewhere please. That's why they gave us sliders. To make the game as real or fake as u want it. Complain to your commish if u don't like it or quit your league. Your call
