Not sure if we have this somewhere, but I couldn't find it.
Went and saw the Sporting KC- San Jose game. What a blast. Not a bad seat in the stadium.
Here are just a few of the pics I took.

The last one is Kei Kamara after the game. I tweeted at him after the game and he replied to me. Was a really cool experience.

That stadium looks awesome. They sell out the game? I know they typically get large crowds out there. I plan on hitting up a Crew game sooner or later. I'll have to snag some pictures while I'm there. If I don't make it to that, I'm at least going to the USMNT game at Crew Stadium, so regardless there will be pictures of the stadium somewhere :)

They were over capacity. The limit is suppose to be like 18,654 or something like that and they had like 6 away from 20,000. It was very loud. There were some great chants such as "Yellow team sucks" after a call where the side ref called a foul just outside the box, the center blew for it, went over to discuss it with the ar and then decided to do a drop ball coming out for San Jose. Very weird. Later there was a lot of booing and jeers at the San Jose keeper, Busch on two instances. One when he threw a ball at the KC cauldron crowd and later when he pushed a ball boy and hit the ball out of his hand because he didn't give him the ball quick enough. Look for that to be fine and suspension time.

I'm going to San Francisco in a couple weeks for work, so I was planning on going to see a game but both Seattle and Portland are on the road that week. Such a bummer.

Seven MLS teams bounced from the US Open Cup, none more spectacularly then my New England Revolution. Down to 10-men, the Revs survived regular time at 0-0, then scored 3 in the first half of extra time. Certainly up 3-0 with 15 minutes to play is a safe lead against a 3rd division team...right? Not so much, Harrisburg City scores 3 of their own to tie the match and force penalties. 3-3 on penalties, Harrisburg City hits theirs to go up 4-3 with one shooter left...none other than our best player, Benny Feilhaber. He steps up, takes a weak low shot left, which the goalie easily saves. I hate this team.

I don't know what was more amazing to watch, that 3-3 extra time final with NE and Harrisburg, with all 6 being scored in ET, or amateur 5th division Cal FC taking down Portland. At least Harrisburg is a pro team in a respectable league, Portland has no excuses. But 6 goals in et? Unbelievable stuff.
