John Hollinger @johnhollinger Go easy on Hennigan. Hearing Orl Pres Alex Martins likely ran this one. Always good to have non-bball folks make critical decision.
Now I know James has made my life as a Knicks fan miserable, but what did the Dolan's due to the Indians?
His fuckhead uncle Larry bought the Indians in 2000 effectively ending the greatest era in Cleveland Indians history. He REFUSES to spend money while pulling in tons of cash. Its not like he's putting money into the farm system either, the Tribe are in the bottom half in terms of farm systems. He also hires incompetent slobs as his GM and VP's of Player Personnel. Now that the McCourt's no longer own the Dodgers, Larry Dolan is now officially the worst owner in Major League Baseball.
I didn't know being an idiot, douche owner ran in the family. Donnie Walsh turned the Knicks around, and Dolan pushed him out. I was nervous when Walsh left, but I'm actually happy with the off season moves, for the most part, this year. There may be hope for the Indians.
@JoshuaBRobbins: The #Magic received a $17.8 million traded player exception in the deal, Hennigan said. Magic will have 1 year to use it.
Maybe the Magic did get the best deal on the table after all.... http://dimemag.com/2012/08/the-orlando-magic-may-have-taken-the-best-available-deal-after-all/
Great article on NBA.com today. Nice read for all you non-hoops fans too. http://www.nba.com/2012/news/08/20/...ba-and-nfl-lessons/index.html?ls=iref:nbahpt1
Rasheed Wallace tells Woodson he's ready, will officially become Knick as soon as Monday nyp.st/PMbth7 Blaza dj illmatic 23
Interesting addition, depending on what he has left. I need his ass in the post, and not chucking up 3's though. We already have JR Smith for that. My biggest question is if Shumpert will make it back this year, and what he can contribute. Ronnie Brewer was a nice add until Shumpert gets back. I also hope Melo and Woodson realized how productive Melo can be on catch and shoots after the Olympic experience, and quit making iso's the primary way the offense runs through him.
I really dont think there's any chance we see Sheed working in the post my much. Camby Cane will patrol the middle with the secos unit while Sheed will shoot pot shots from 3 and from the corners at 12-15 feet. Who knows what he has left, but you'd have to think he's a liability defensively at this point. More of a depth signing/end of the bench guy. Brewer
