    COPPA CONFEDERAZIONE
    (S7) FINAL

Please schedule match and post match result here

OPEN: Friday, December 14 @ 9 am ET
CLOSE: Wednesday, December 19 @ midnight PT

    IMPORTANT REMINDERS:
    Home team listed first.

For knockout stage matches, use the following scheduling procedure so that the Extra Time/Penalties option can be selected post-game in the event of a draw:
Online Modes > Custom Games > Match Lobbies > (Meet your opponent in a match lobby)
    -Half Length = 10 Mins
    -Controls = Semi-Assisted
    -Game Speed = Slow
Squads should be automatically set to Custom since that's how it worked in FIFA 12, which means it should have your pre-set lineups. Make sure your roster is up-to-date with the latest online roster release. Anyone found using illegal rosters will be severely punished.
Do NOT use Online Friendlies to invite an opponent to a match, as that mode does not allow ET/pens.

    SUSPENSIONS:
    (none)

    Genoa -- Bordeaux

its looking likely that I'll be in the final w/ Ucan's ps3 situation... I'll likely be unavailable Monday (might be Tuesday instead), but completely free one of those days and Wed also. What's your availability then?

I'm working until about midnight, then drive home... I have to be at work by 10am tomorrow so my window is probably until 1:30-2am-ish at the latest.

BORDEAUX SCORES LATE AND HANGS ON TO WIN INAUGURAL COPPA CONFEDERAZIONE TITLE!
In the inaugural Coppa Confederazione Final, we had a rematch from the group stage with Genoa and Bordeaux facing off. Genoa had the upper-hand in the group stage match (winning 5-3), but Bordeaux came into this game hungry for redemption. Yet for most of the match, neither team managed to get onto the scoreboard. Both defenses were at top-form while the offenses sputtered to get many quality chances. The second half continued on with more 0-0 play, but in the 71st minute, Bordeaux struck first. Gouffran got the ball along the left side of the pitch and had a breakaway if he could burn past the defender. With great speed, Gouffran did just that and tapped in the opening goal once in the box. The goal was a monumental shift in the game, but Bordeaux wasn't done there. 7 minutes later, Obraniak found Ludovic Sane, who was able to fire off a shot and hit the back of the net. With a 2-0 lead, the title seemed to be Bordeaux's to lose. Genoa failed to give in though, as Borriello scored in the 88th minute, cutting the lead down to just a single goal. However, it was too little too late for the Italian side, as the final whistle blew shortly thereafter. The title caps off a rather disappointing season for Bordeaux, but ends Coach Bronc's time with the team on a high note. The win will also put Bordeaux into the Supercoppa, where they will face off against Sao Paulo in the first round.

gg Geneseo98, I had to run right after the game so sorry for not sending back a message post-match. Quite the game tho, close most the way and almost a late comeback on your part.
