BBC isn't my fav but its solid. I don't think the 3 floyds was on the list lastnight, but I'll have to double check next time. Is it pretty good johnny?
I've heard there beers are amazing, especially Darklord and Dreadnaught. That Robert the Bruce has great reviews as a Scottish ale. http://www.ratebeer.com/beer/three-floyds-robert-the-bruce-scottish-ale/5596/ Unfortunately we don't get their beers in Cincy.
I've had it but its been a long time. I couldn't tell you about it now but will probably give it a shot next time.
One of my favorites when I come back home, excellent for Thanksgiving and Christmas and packs a good punch.
Brewery is only 40 minutes away, love all their shit. Some of my most interesting stories start with "So I picked up a case of Golden Monkeys..."
I love Paulaner. If you enjoy that, try Weihenstephaner Hefeweissbier, or the Live Oaks one we talked about earlier in this thread.
Well weihenstephaner isn't gonna be any cheaper and unless you live in Texas, Live Oak is gonna be hard to come by. Shaun Mason the freaking local theater that had this on tap for me no longer has it and the only other place I know who serves it in town won't have it again till May. Gonna start looking at the kegerator more now
Had a variety today... Frankenmuth Brewing's Hefeweizen Blowing Rock High Country Ale Now serving Atwater Block Brewery's Dirty Blonde Ale...
Just discovered Frankenmuth recently. I've only had their IPA so far, but I thought it was pretty good. I only had one Hefe and I wasn't a huge fan, but I honestly can't remember who it was from. Might have to give another one a shot at some point.
All I know is no matter how good their beer may be, Zender's chicken in Frankenmuth is > than any beer made up there...
