We have a book thread, a movie thread, a beer thread, I figured it was time to put up a Temple of Gluttony. --- One of the benefits of working for a Japanese company: Good quality sushi for lunch. Terrible blurry photo though, LOL.
All I know is if we ever have a TSO convention, Colemanchu, Nautica and myself are in charge of food.
I don't think that's true. Granted, I'm fat and I eat everything, but my experience with other fat people is that they are typically picky. They eat a lot of one thing.
This is true. Got a buddy who is pushin 4 bills and says "minus this and that" more than anyone i know.
I'm getting a new smoker here soon, I'm looking at a propane setup with a charcoal and wood smoke box for the flavor and smoke ring. I was looking at an electric one but from what I've read, you won't get the nice bark with electric smokers.
If you don't mind doing a little work, check out this link. Me and a friend of mine are planning on making two of them soon.
Work with a huge woman who is one of the pickiest people I have ever met. Huge surprise that she doesn't like any vegetable unless it's deep fried.
build your own. it's easy and if you don't need to buy any tools you can do it for less than a hundo.
There is an easier method. http://www.bbq-brethren.com/forum/showthread.php?t=23436 Of course if you don't want to read 650 pages then I can give you some pictures and a walkthrough of one of the most reliable/inexpensive pieces of cooking equipment known to man. I've built four so far and if you have some ice and a large cooler it can turn into one hell of a day you and your friend won't soon forget.
Made these two weeks ago. Some good eating here. Homemade sweet italian sausage: Homemade bratwurst: Also made some homemade hot dogs and then ate them Chicago style. I hate raw onion and tomato but this combo is the only way I will eat hot dogs from now on. Just awesome.
