FFFFFFUUUUUUUUU! I missed the alert for this one, must have gotten drowned out by the 20 f.in alerts I got from commenting on Roggies status the other but anyway just for the fun of it this is the greatness that you all missed out on. John Coleman #28 5'11" 170 LB's Switch/Right Catcher/Outfield Contact, Defense, Speed Mickey Tettleton Background : As a 12 year Coleman lead his LaCrosse Parks and Rec Red team to a league title and improbable run through the Stars of Tomorrow tournament which was cut short by a stupid family trip. Coleman batted an unbelievable .550 from the lead off spot and used his speed and aggression on the base paths to turn singles into doubles and challenge opposing defenses. But where he really made his mark was behind the plate using great positioning to save many wild pitches and a rocket arm to shut down any run game the opposition thought they had. Story's can still be heard around the Coulee Region about Coleman's own coaches asking him to drop pitches on purpose to bait his opponents into running. The following summer he made the jump to the vaunted Boys n Girls Club Blue team and earned himself a starting spot, but unfortunately as quick as the baseball gods gave us the great player they took him away as Coleman discovered girls and a new way to spend his summers swinging and missing.
Super bummed I didn't see this thread prior If you need any bench coaches or minor league depth let me know , with a weeks notice I can grow a nice Lou Brown from Major League style mustach lol
