I’d like to spotlight one of the more active Premier Leagues here at Tradition to give us some of the spotlight. While many may not know it, The Experience is only 2nd behind The Duece in terms of content amount. There are numerous daily posts with several of the members discussing game outcomes, recruiting, trying to schedule and even the light banter.

The Experience has just entered Season 9 and at the current pace will probably get at least 2 full seasons in before NCAA ’13 is released. It is all thanks to all of our members having very flexible schedules that work great with the others.
And thanks to this solid core of members, our rate or turnover has been extremely small and while we have lost a couple of great guys over the last year or so, we have also gained some great players almost as soon as the spot was open. I don’t think the league has ever been under 11 players at any time.

Some of us have been with The Experience for more than one release, I know that JC, Suge, and Jello (although he was on hiatus for the ’11 release) have been in this league since I joined back in 2009. So to be able to tolerate and work well with the same people for years now makes this league alone a great place to be.

With additional members jumping on in the last year or two some fierce rivalries have cropped up. It always seems like UofCWildcat is trying to get under jello1717’s skin or blLL flo and edge771 are hashing it out. Let’s not forget JC and Dakota as one of the B1G’s fiercest rivalries. With controllerabuser recently taking over USC, I can tell he and I will also become rivals before too long, he has already whooped me pretty good and I am thirsty for revenge.

There is also seasonal content such as Darkwing setting up the User Pick ‘Em in which each season he will post the weekly user matchups and each member may, if they choose, select who they believe will win. The season winner is rewarded with either swaying back a player (The E does not allow swaying back in order for the CPU to stay at the same talent level) or cutting an extra player beyond the one additional The Experience allows. The other seasonal content is what I do, freshmen of the Year. The interest it brings in depends on who has a standout freshman, some years we have several players, others like this past season we only had 3 on the voting list.

So anyone who is looking for ideas on content or just want some good reading material, head over to The Experience. If you are thinking of someday turning your league Premier, this league is a great example of what yours could be with dedication and a solid group of members.
