Easily the top prospect in the draft, and maybe the best since David Taylor. Was the #1 pick in last year's draft, but was unable to come to terms with Miami. Another season in Wichita seems to have motivated Keller, who impressed scouts so much that his grades actually improved. A ton of stuff, masterful control, and good movement with 3 great to outstanding pitches has Keller looking like a lock to be a top 3 pitcher in the MLB. He's also one of the most developed prospects that we have ever seen. The AL West will hate seeing him multiple times every season.
The only questions about Keller is who can afford his demand and who wants to really pick someone named Keller . Apart from those factors, Keller looks like the top player in the draft and deserves to go #1.
2) Philadelphia Phillies - RF David 'Gremlin' Ennis
After trading Dale away to the Angels, the Phillies are definitely in need of an OF bat in their system and Gremlin looks like the top batter in the draft with elite speed. Questionable defense could cause Gremlin to fall a little but his bat won't last long in this draft.
3) San Diego Padres - SS Jon 'The Little Globetrotter'...
Breezy came out an advanced arm from St. John’s, and looked poised for a long career in the big leagues. Though some questioned the pick off the bat, there was no denying that he could anchor a rotation if all went well. To some extent, it did go all well, at least for a while. Little’s success was fleeting, as he ascended to the big leagues in less than 2 years before posting a 10-2 record in 2023. Ultimately, Little’s career was undone by a few significant injuries that saw his ratings fall off the table. He’s currently in the bullpen of the Cubs’ AA affiliate, the...
Below is a guide that will in theory show how the 4-1-2-1-2 runs in FIFA 14 and give a thorough description to those still up in the air on what formation to use and if this is the right one for them. Remember, as in previous versions of FIFA, no formation is perfect and much is dependent on the skill of the user and if he is willing to use each member of its alignment to the way it was intended. Much of this depends on you and how you play. If you abuse the AI, or don’t believe in strategy, you may want to move on to the next thread. I should also point out much of this is paraphrased if not copied directly from guides on futhead.com. **Lots of good FAQs and help posts in their forum. So for those of you real geniuses, you may want to head over there for further reading (thanks for the images BTW!).
Summary
Last time we discussed the 4-2-3-1 and how balanced it was of a formation. The 4-1-2-1-2 is a totally different animal from my point of view. For me, this...
With the second World Cup qualification window now open, that means it's time for some more international previews! After this round of games, we'll begin to see which teams are for real and which teams will need to step up their play over the final 3 group matches. In the last round, we had 9 of the 20 nations go goalless, while only 3 nations scored multiple goals. That fact will surely play a part in some of this week's predictions, with Part 1 below and Part 2 coming Wednesday night...
It's safe to say that each Tampa, Chicago, and Houston all have firm grips on their respective divisions. That being said, the wild card race is really heating up. In my mind, it boils down to 6 teams here - Baltimore, Boston, Los Angeles, Minnesota, New York, and Seattle.
Baltimore Remaining series: NYA, DET, BOS, NYA, BOS, TOR, LAN, TBA, SEA Key injuries: C Wayne Barnes Players to watch: 1B Dave Harris (.319/39 HR/114 RBI), SP Zack Gordon (14-9/3.45 ERA) ryalaman and his Orioles have to be the favorites to pull away from the pack here, and have the perfect opportunity to do so with two series against an inconsistent New York team, and the upstart Boston Red Sox.The loss of Wayne Barnes is a huge blow to their title hopes, but still leaves Baltimore with the most talented roster out of the wild card teams. Couple that roster with a seasoned manager, and you have a strong possibility Baltimore will be playing ball come October....
Anthony Martial is a burgeoning star out of France
Perhaps you just started a new manager mode or have been kicking the idea around. The Global Scouting Network will be your friend - but for those less inclined to spend a significant amount of time scouring the planet for young talent, here is a list of 11 teenagers that can, under the right tutelage, blossom into stars on the pitch.
ST Anthony Martial
Age: 18 Nationality: France League: Ligue 1 Club: AS Monaco
Anthony Martial grows to be, in my opinion, the single most dominating force of anyone on this list. He isn’t all that tall, but his combination of pace, strength, and finishing ability make him an absolute lethal target man. Not only can he play effectively with his back to goal, but he develops an incredibly powerful an accurate shot. If you’re going to buy, do so while he’s still young, as it won’t be long before he’s going for 30...
Get Ready For the Kickoff!
Last week's Out of the Park Baseball 15 announcement wasn't all we had planned - Today, just in time for this Sunday's big game between the Seahawks and the Broncos, we're unveiling the latest addition to our excellent lineup of sports management games - Beyond the Sideline Football.
BTS Football is being created by lead developer Francis Cole, who previously worked on Football Manager at Sports Interactive and joined Out of the Park Developments in October. He is a lifelong football fan and even created a football simulation as part of his college studies.
"I've known Francis since my days working at Sports Interactive," says OOTP Developments co-founder Markus Heinsohn. "He is a tremendously talented programmer who knows American football as well as anyone I've ever met and he has been working on his own football gaming projects for years. I am convinced...
If you are involved on some platform of social media and play any of Electronic Art's popular video games, then you have probably seen articles popping up surrounding Machinima's deal with Microsoft where M$ dealt significant amounts of cash to people who mentioned the Xbox One or any associated games (which is now being brushed under the table as not a big deal).
This has recently brought up questions surrounding EA's integrity in all of it's other programs. I just wanted to address the fact that a few of the people on this site are apart of the EA Sports Game Changers program and that we have never been paid to give positive reviews or outlooks on any games. I'm sure you could search through some track records,...
