How many games will we need to play per week? I would be interested in being the Rays in league C also
*UPDATED* Subject to change League A 30 games 18+ users Play all games (CPU and User) Hal = Commish Roster League B 162 games 12+ users Play Apr, May and Sept -- Sim Jun - Aug (CPU games can be quick pitch) Ry = Commish Roster League C 81 games 18+ users Play all games (CPU games can be quick pitch) Ipeench/Ry = Commish Roster If you aren't happy with your league and would like us to consider moving you, please send me a PM. All three leagues will wait for OS Full Minors rosters before start. Fortunately, with OS working on rosters right when the PS3 version drops, we shouldn't have to wait long. If you are one of the users that has an ample amount of free time (i.e. you are a fireman) and would like to play in two leagues, please let us know. If you know of anyone else that would like to play, recruit them!
Thank you for putting me the league (Blue Jays!) Are we waiting for the PS4 version to start or are we starting after the roster update on Tuesday? Also, are there any required (other than I believe the difficulty level is "professional".) In particular is there are required/proscribed hitting/pitching/fielding interface settings? For example if "metered throwing' is required I'll need to practice up on that. (I set it to button only after totally muffing my first game in the field.) Thanks again!
pretty sure we used zone batting/pulse pitching last release and the difficulties were either all star or hall of fame (don't remember)
Why would we be required to use a certain pitching or batting interface? Other than difficulty setting it should be the players preference as to what they use. None give a player an advantage, other than what they are comfortable with.
Because meter pitching is for children. We use pulse cuz its harder and incorporates the uncertainty of where a pitch goes. Pitchers dont hit their spots all the time. Meter pitching is way too easy to pinpoint. We use zone hitting cuz it forces u to have skill and try to hit the pitch where it is in the zone. Timing is no skill. U just hit the button and the pci placement is totally determined by the hitters attributes. Lol dont mean to come off harsh but thats why we use the settings we use
Zone hitting is fine but pulse pitching is just annoying to look at. And yes, instead of just explaining why the league uses the settings you sound like your trying to be a smart$.
Well I am a smart ass and I did explain why, but the meter pitching is just way too easy. We had waaaay too many 1-0 games last yr. It's hard enuf for some guys to hit as it is, meter makes it redic, pulse is a good challenge. Seriously my 6 yr old nephew can beat people with an ace using meter.
That's fine, don't have a problem using whatever settings league requires. Just felt you could leave the comments out.
I'm just hoping all these issues happening on the PS3 side get patched (or don't occur at all on next-gen) before the game drops for PS4. Sounds like a lot of people having some major headaches right now.
Yes, I've been hearing about the online play issues and it is of concern. Hopefully they'll fix it or it will ruin an otherwise terrific game.
Freezing, connection issues. I haven't tried an online game yet so I'm going by what I heard on the operation sports podcast and the shownation forums.
