We really like what Ben can bring to the table and we hope that he can explode in development with professional management. Timpegoose
The Braves select SP Rob "Beefsteak" Wolfe. Wolfe is a solid pitcher for this late in the draft, and has fairly decent control for a rookie. A lefty starter is always welcome in Atlanta, and we think he could turn out to be a good one. At 6'1 200 lb, we don't think he'll be growing into his frame much more so he probably won't add much more velocity but he's still got quality stuff highlighted by a legit changeup. Timpegoose nice pick. I almost took him in the first round, which actually is probably a bad sign for you.
Thanks, but man that's a blown out elbow waiting to happen. I was all excited about this guy too. I think I actually like him better than my first 2 picks.
With their 3rd round selection, the Rangers get what they feel like is a steal in RF Michael Cantrell.
With the it's 3rd round selection the Tigers select another two way player in CF Michael Kemp from NJ. Although Kemp is unlikely to become a pitcher at the next level, his raw potentials + personality ratings are very good. With an improved defense he could one day make it through Detroit's farm system and play in the outfield at Comerica.
