guess I never mastered the switching idea. Every time I switch the CB loses speed and runs like a guy with 5 speed. Now i'll agree this was an issue in later games, this year not so much.
I of course love the simming. I would recommend the compromise of play 2 sim 1. Teams: 1. Texans 2. Dolphins 3. Rams 4. Bucs 5. Eagles 6. Colts
The no switch is a good thought in theory but it never works in game. Leagues are going away from that thought of no switching...community wise
There is no user turbo in game, when it comes to switching.... You guys just think that there is If we still had rocket catches and such I'd say no switch. But that's madden of old
Things I'd like to see happen in Madden 15. Some type of game summary. Strict trade committe. Less trades. OK with draft trades. Content. No Sims. People getting back to mixing up their play calling. Last but not least, sticking around with the same team for the whole year and not quitting(me). Team: Minnesota Vikings.
I like the idea of sim seasons but as someone pointed out in an earlier post you only play half the other conference due to the sims. My preference would be the 2-1 idea. Teams I would be interest playing with are- Carolina, Arizona, or Buffalo.
I threw a lob to Julio and a 88 speed CB ran past him to the ball, dunno what it is if it's not turbo boost.
momentum. Think about NFL. The QB and the WR are on the same page on those type of throws. The DB is clueless. It's like a back shoulder throw.
I just stated my two cents. But... Every other league i was in from ps3 and ps4 was no switch. Guys are not moving from no switch. And there is no momentum in the world strong enough to make an 86 spd 85 acc cb out run a 96 spd 95 acc wr to a pass throw 45 yards down field. To say there is any possible way that that is realistic is almost an EA marketing statement. There can be many outcomes from a pass thrown deep down field. overthrow, under throw, wobble pass, to far inside or outside, in stride, slow up and catch. But the one constant should be, if 96 spd is in tight man with 86 spd and a pass is thrown 40-50 yds down field, 96 spd should separate. may not complete the pass but should separate. And 86 spd shouldnt run past 95 spd in a sprint to the pass landing circle. Maybe i didnt quantify what i said. Switching by itself isnt the issue. You dont gain much speed from that all the time. But if i switch and hit triangle the ball becomes almost tethered to the defender. you can go in the skills trainer and you will pickoff 98/100 passes no matter what the variables are, if you switch and hit triangle and the two you didnt catch the db dropped.(sarcasm, but still about right). Everyone has there position. That was just mine
Like I said. It's a good thought. But we will NEVER go to no switching. It's not happening. I am not going to strip some of the fun out of the game because of some coding issues. and I am looking at it from a WR persepective. If I have 1 on 1 with my #1 WR then I am going to go to him everytime, even if I have to "switch" to make the catch. That is where the realistic comment comes from.
While I think the intent makes sense do you know how hard that's going to be to un-remember ? I've been switching to the DB since like 1987 lol.
Teams..... Well I would say Cleveland but I told Ryty that if they take JFF I'm not interested So if Ryty somehow joins the circus and doesn't play next cycle I'd love my Browns anyway , glutton for punishment I guess lol Order of preferred teams: 49ers Texans Cardinals Packers Jets Steelers (barf) Eagles Bucs Bengals (barf barf) Rams Raiders Black Knight Seahawks In other words BobJr I'm flexible with teams lol. I think it's better for a league to have guys in the same division that like eachother , nothing worse than being stuck playing a guys two times year you can't stand, or worse rotating doors in your division. Haven't played too many folks here yet but I enjoyed playing GTG and I've enjoyed playing Publik too in XB leagues. As for sim seasons I've stated I like the play 2 sim 1 format , allows more team building which can allow more parody in the league. I'd like to see more structured roster rules and whatnot , fan of rolling waivers vs FA first come first serve. I'd also like to add screw KnightNoles just because
It's not that hard to remember....when I left tso for two releases I was in no-switch leagues with smace. It's not as hard as you think.
Dude I can hardly tell you what button does what audible unless I look , it's all muscle memory for me. If you can change that more power to you but I'm not sure I could do it.
When the ball is in the air the user can hit the "x" button and switch to the defender or receiver and try to user catch or pick.
So supposed to let the cpu catch 4 us....might as well sim the gm then right? Or call plays and c what happens. I vote against if ever gets to that. Thx 4 the clarification.
cmon bruh, sim the game? See this thread wasnt even about this. But the cpu catches pitches, makes hand offs and transfers the ball from hand to hand. Cpu makes snaps. In real life about half the turnovers come from those plays. But in Madden the cpu does it. we not simming because they do that. You still have to find the receiver and put the right touch and placement with a good enough QB. Back in the day a user pick took skill. You had to time hitting triangle AND be in position. Why it is not looked on as sim now by many is you hit circle then hold triangle there is no skill and you are not doing anything anyway. The cpu is doing it. It reduces the already small passing windows and makes guys who are open vs weaker defenders not open and its a user pick. It makes ratings that dont matter much, not matter. To each his own. I didnt break the no switch habit easy. But now i NEVER switch. Not here, not in MUT and i have a winning record in online MUT. Hell Tubb, who might be going to the superbowl again, I have beaten 4 times in a row and he is far from a scrub. I been in the top 5-8 in defense every year by putting players in position to make plays. Imagine if I switched. I know what it is and i knew from the jump. Im good with how it is. Just mine and a few others view on it.
I don't mind the user switching. Im not good at it so I don't switch until after the catch to try and make the tackle. But what I do is when I see I have a user that switches I adjust. I don't try to hit smaller windows or force passes.
Before this takes off. This is suppose to be a wish list thread. If you have a wish list it. If enough people agree with a certain wish, co-sign and it might go to a vote on it. This was not a vote on someones wish thread. If its not something you wish for let it go. If nobody else co-signs it wont even be a vote. But since there were responses to MY wish, i responded. I apologize for the hijack. Project kid with high IQ and ex drill sergeant. My DNA. If someone's comment is directed toward me i respond.
