A very strong first three, followed by two former ace veterans. The always hurt Billingsley will come out of the bullpen to start the year. While the Bearded Brian Wilson and Kenley Jansen look to seal the deal in the 8th and 9th innings.
If we choose to adjust our rotation, how do you want us to post it? Are we allowed to have spot starts?
Nats pitching rotation 1. Strasburg 2. Fister 3. Zimmerman 4. Gonzalez 5. Roark 1st week will see Roark at 4 and Jordan with the spot start as the 5th P as my team had 2 games played before I got to adjust lineups.
Gerrit Cole and Francisco Liriano are obviously both the aces in this rotation. Wandy Rodriguez is another vet who the club hopes will be a solid third day pitcher. Jameson Taillon and Brandon Crumpton were both brought up from Triple AAA. Taillon is a very young pitcher who the club has a lot of faith in. Personally, I would have left him in Triple AAA for a month or so, but the CPU felt he was needed in the majors during my epic "Roster Fix" prior to playing Opening Day! Note: Edison Volquez and Charlie Morton both got sent down to AAA, but could be brought up sooner rather than later if Taillon seems to need more time in the lower league. Or if Crumpton comes out struggling.
I am pretty happy with 1-3 , hopefully I can add a nice lefty as 4th starter at some point. I have a few younger guys I hope to call up for the 5th spot later, Tomlin is really accurate but can get knocked around a bit it seems.
My rotation stays on constant fluctuation here are the 5-7 though 1.Tanaka (has been god awful 5+ ERA) 2.CC (5-1 with a 4 something ERA) 3.Kuroda (Only real dominant pitcher I pitch with) 4.Jaime Garcia (started out 3-2 1.53 ERA, now at 4-3 3.24) 5.Francis (3-0 2.60)/Nova (2-1 4 something ERA) and Niemann/Phelps Some games my 5th Francis doesn't get back to 100% so I start Nova, sometimes Nova is in the pen so I call up Niemann or Phelps.
Orioles rotation changes in lieu of their trade with the White Sox. 1. Johan Santana 2. Kevin Gausman 3. John Danks 4. Chris Tillman 5. Bud Norris
