TFS Supercoppa Final (Broncos218) Parma 2 - 1 CSKA Moscow (shiftee) The Parma faithful celebrate their club's Supercoppa triumph Match Facts: 2 Goals 1 4 Shots 19 3 SOT 11 52% Possession 48% 9 Tackles 18 1 Fouls 1 0 0 0 0 1 Offsides 1 1 Corners 5 Parma: Amauri (15') A. Cassano Amauri (52') C. Molinaro CSKA Moscow: I. Akinfeev (90') MOTM: A. Mirante - Parma (9.8) PARMA CLAIMS THIRD TITLE OF SEASON 13! In a match between the Serie A and Coppa Tradizione champions, the Supercoppa Final today also marked the final TFS match before a long offseason. The two veteran managers have a history of competing in winner-take-all title clashes, and it was Coach Bronc's Parma side that jumped out to the early lead in this one. In the 15th minute, Parma won a corner kick and Antonio Cassano found Amauri in the box for a 1-0 lead. Parma took this lead into the half, and Amauri quickly doubled his goal tally with a terrific shot on net in the 52nd minute. Now up 2-0, Parma was able to play with a comfortable lead while CSKA struggled to find the back of the net despite their numerous chances. As stoppage time neared in the second half, CSKA won corner after corner and eventually broke up Parma's clean sheet with a goal from none other than the keeper, Igor Akinfeev! The ball settled on the ground and Akinfeev kicked it toward net while falling away from the goal, and ball slowly rolled into the bottom corner to make it 2-1. But it was too little too late for the Russian club, as the final whistle blew with Parma's lead still intact. The victory completes a treble of sorts for Parma, who now have the Serie A title, Coppa Confederazione title, and Supercoppa title to showcase in their trophy cabinet for this season. "Certainly a cherry on the top of a fantastic season," said Coach Bronc following the win. "CSKA is never an easy opponent and we certainly had to come into this one with a strong gameplan. We were able to execute our chances, and now we'll have to find some more shelf space in the trophy room!" gg shiftee Amauri puts Parma up 1-0 in the 15th minute by converting a headed attempt from a corner kick In the 52nd minute, Amauri earns his brace with a splendid strike past Akinfeev Really disappointed there was no highlight of Akinfeev's goal . Not even a header, just straight up kicked it in!
Great game Broncos218 the ghosts of juve's past have haunted me the last 2 games we've played! Damn Amauri and molinaro! Yeah it would have been nice to have the Akinfeev goal highlight lol I've never scored with a GK before! Congrats!
