Its that time of year again fellas....... time for me to shut it down & recharge for NCAA 11. Just like last year around this time I took a break to get set for the next NCAA installment. We are 4 weeks away from NCAA 11 release & I would advise every1 to take a break(@ least a week or 2 b4 release)to recharge for our NCAA 11 dynasty. Drifter you can set me on auto please.
Now that my life has finally slowed down, I was thinking about getting back in, but like you said, I'll just wait until NCAA 11 now.
I had to do the same thing. Just too much going on right now. Between the oil spill, work and family, Im swamped.
I live in Mobile AL, and my wife's family has some beach property in Orange Beach, that basically is just screwed. I also have several friends that run charter companies that are basically looking for work. Its a freaking disaster down here.
My fiance previously worked at Disney's Animal Kingdom during an internship (kids education program) and a lot of the friends she made down there have been sent to assist animal rescue efforts for animals affected by the oil spill. They've been posting pictures on facebook and they are very sad. Well beyond what the media coverage is making it out to be (much worse than just watching the live feed of the hole spewing the oil).
I'm just glad Bush isn't president now that this is happened. I'm sure all of you who live up north would have heard how tragic and unfathomable the situation is. Celebrities would have no doubt been on public news talk shows screaming how BP and the president hate all of the people who live on the gulf. Another possible reason for lack of media coverage is that reporters go into the bayous and back-waters to talk to people about it and never come back...
Living in Florida, it's all I see on the news. I guess it's just not big in the rest of the country. They just showed the first shrimp fisherman that got his $5,000 check from BP.
