Great game by the Commish, 31-3 over UW, could have been 60 to 0, 247 yards rushing given up. Just plain ugly and a poor effort on my part, sorry to waste you time! Appreciate the good sportsmanship in keeping the score down...
yea, i say its really not worth messing with... just play the game. it looks like the guy changed all the seniors to freshmen, etc but when you load the rosters it reverts to the default depth chart so then freshmen (and some edited players) then switch to the original places that the seniors had held. we just didnt do anything and played straight up... not caring about players. its just to get our feet wet and play the new guys so a) use the regular rosters and sub some guys if you want or just use those rosters and dont mess with changes.
Hell of a game, kid. Clemson wins the toss and elects to defer to the 2nd half. I drive right down the field to his 34 when Joe Bauserman (Pryor didn't make the trip) makes a horrible decision to throw the ball into double coverage. Corner tips it, Safety picks it off. The Silver Bullet D forces the Tigers to punt after 4 plays. The first quarter ends in the middle of the Buckeyes drive, 0-0 tie through 1. Then Bauserman leads the Buckeyes on a 4 minute 37 second drive covering 69 yards to open the scoring on a 16 yard TD pass to Jake Stoneburner. 7-0 Good guys. The Buckeye D steps up again and forces the Tigers to punt. Not to be out done the boys from Death Valley hold the Buckeyes to a 3 and out. C. Stoudt engineers a drive spanning the final 2 minutes and 5 seconds that was capped by a 21 yard field goal by A. Lakip. 7-3 Buckeyes at the half. The Tigers come out after halftime energized as C. Stoudt hit B. Clear on a 57 yard fly pattern the second play of the half. Clear got all the way to the Buckeyes 7 yard line, but the Silver Bullet D would not allow them to get much closer and the tigers would have to settle for the second fieldgoal of the day by Lakip. This time was from 24 yards out. 7-6 Buckeyes. The Tigers would get no closer on the day. As Joe Bauserman showed his senior leadership as he drove the Buckeyes down the field and hit a wide open Jake Stoneburner for a 18 yard TD. The 4th quarter opened with the play that would spell doom for the Tigers. Ben Buchanan was punting from his 31 to Davis standing on his 25. Davis fielded the punt cleaning but as he broke up field he was met by a brick wall named Travis Howard. Howard's hit jarred the ball loose for Safety Donnie Evege to pounce on. Buckeyes ball at the Clemson 25. 5 plays latter Carlos Hyde punched the ball in from a yard out. 21-6 Buckeyes became the final. Great game, and I hope you stay in the ACC to torment Hokie and the rest of them losers.
