Michigan had its second straight battle against a Top 3 team as they traveled to Athens, Georgia to play in the #1 Toughest Stadium in the nation. The game started out as Michigan did not want it to, as Georgia took the opening kickoff to the house. However, the Michigan Offense led by Denard Robinson would answer and continue to put on the pressure. Two of the most ridiculous plays happened in the 2nd quarter. The first on a Georgia option that was intercepted, then lateraled by two Michigan players, only to have Orson Charles of Georgia strip it back 35 yds later. (Commish said he would post the video.) The second was the play of a game, a disgusting Denard Robinson run that went for a TD. Denard shined throwing (20-27, 351, 1) and rushing (11, 32, 2). JeRon Stokes was Robinson's main target going (7, 153, 1). For Georgia, Orson Charles was a stud as always going (6, 173) but was held out of the endzone. Michigan returns home to take on #7 Boise State - a brutal but impressive start for the Wolverines as they sit 2-0.
