# 10 Texas 10 at #1 Michigan 34 The game started out with Michigan taking the kickoff and driving for a FG. 3-0 Wolves. Texas would get to midfield and have to punt. Most of the first half is a defensive battle. Texas would tie the game at three on thier second posession of the game. The Longhorns pass rush is special and they get after you. Back to back sacks would put us inside our ten and on 4th and 28 we punted. Texas being patient would move inside our 25 and go for broke, our Senior SS would make a fantastic play jumping the route and get the pick. He would be tackled right away however and we had a long way to go. We would behind Senior All American Joey Hackett, he would carry the load on the ground and make one catch he almost broke. He finished the drive with a one yard plunge. We would have one more shot before half but the Longhorns held again and we went to halftime 10-3 Wolverines. The second half starts and right after Kinger has said I am glad to go in 10-3 getting the ball and limiting turnovers he got the kick and on first down tossed ....a pick. Hackett would hit paydirt off LG for a twenty six yard td run, over and around the Texas D. 17-3 Michigan. Texas would toss another pick to our Senior SS again and this time promising freshman RB Sam Stallings would finalize it with a three yard plunge. 24-3. Texas sensing things were starting to get away from them would make a nice drive and hit a seam route up the middle for a TD, a great play. 24-10. Then we went back to Hackett on the ground and he was fantastic. He had 27 carries for 180 + yards and two scores. Add another 40 yards or so in the air on three grabs. 31-10. Then one last pick and a FG would finish the scoring. Michigan wins at home 34-10. Hackett, Stallings and SS ? cant remember his name for the life of me right now with three picks were the real deal. GG Kinger I always enjoy our games.
