    10. Bernard Scott - Cincinatti Bengals
    [IMG]

Bengals starter Cedric Benson had a great season for Cincy in 2010. With a rookie QB in Andy Dalton added with a group of young receivers, I expect Emmdot and his Bengals to play smash mouth AFC North football. That means a lot of carries for CedBen. Add Bernard Scott into the mix and it is a real thunder (Benson 92 truck rating) and lighting (Scott 93 speed 92 acceleration) combination. Even if the rumors are true and the Bengals reach out to the Texans for Matt Leinart, I still feel at least for this season the Bengals will rely on their ground game to carry them through the season offense. Benson will get a lot of carries, but I expect Bernard Scott to get more touches than people might think.

    MG's Season prediction: 150 attempts 765 yards 5 touchdowns

    9. Danny Amendola - St. Louis Rams
    [IMG]

The Rams brought in some new weapons for franchise QB Sam Bradford. Mike Sims-Walker and rookie Lance Kendricks will contribute a ton, but I still feel the comfort zone Bradford has for his slow, white receiver Danny Amendola will keep him on the radar in the pass game. Add that he has some great ratings (88 catching, 89 stamina, 95 toughness, 89 elusiveness) and I think Amendola will be the Wes Welker of the NFC West. Sims-Walker, Avery and Laurent Robinson will be the deep threats, but I feel Amendola will give the Rams a lot of receptions and 3rd down grabs.

    MG's Season prediction: 80 receptions 600 yards 6 touchdowns

    8. Dan Williams - Arizona Cardinals
    [IMG]

Dan Williams is going into his second year in the NFL and has all the makings of a guy who is ready to bust out. 38 tackles and 0 sacks might not have set the world on fire last year, but he showed flashes of a dominant DT. His ratings are stellar (80 hit power, 79 pursuit, 88 block shedding, 95 strength, 88 tackle) and he should only get better with more time on the field. He needs to work on clogging up the running game, but his pass rushing skills are already there and should be an anchor in the middle of that 3-4 Arizona Cardinals defense for a while.

MG's Season prediction: 40 tackles, 6 sacks, 2 forced fumbles

    7. Le'Ron McClain - Kansas City Chiefs
    [IMG]

The Chiefs had great success running the football last season. McClain is a specialist as a fullback and halfback at punishing enemy linebackers and linemen with big time blocks and big time broken tackles. Not only will this guy bust open huge holes for Jamal Charles, he will get many touches near the redzone and score a few too. Coach SNG is very excited to see what he can do with McClain, and I expect him to have a bigger impact on the Chiefs offense than even the most optimistic Chiefs fans would hope for.

    MG's Season Prediction: 96 carries 374 yards 8 touchdowns

    6. Stephen Paea - Chicago bears
    [IMG]

With news that the Bears are in talks to ship Matt Toeaina to Cleveland, it looks like the rookie Stephen Paea will be a starting tackle for the Chicago defense this year. Paea has all the tools (98 strength, 93 tackle, 88 block shedding) to do damage for the Bears as long as his awareness rating (44) doesn't get in the way. The Bears have high expectations for Paea, so expect him to see the field a lot and, hopefully for Bears fans, make a difference.

MG's Season Prediction: 30 tackles 3 sacks 1 forced fumble

    5. Mario Manningham - New York Giants
    [IMG]

If the Giants want any shot at winning the NFC East this year, Manningham better show up. I think he will. With Steve Smith (the OTHER Steve Smith) gone, Manningham will be the #2 target for Eli Manning this year in New York. Manningham has all the attributes to do huge damage in the open field ( 95 agility, 92 speed 95 acceleration, 95 elusiveness, 97 spin move, 94 juke move) and can go up and get it (95 jump rating). The only thing really holding this guy back is his unwillingness to go through the middle of the field (76 catch in traffic) and below average route running (77 rrg). I expect Manningham to have a huge year for the Giants and help ease the transition of losing Steve Smith and Kevin Boss.

    MG's Season Predictions: 55 receptions 850 yards 5 touchdowns

Good work MG. I like your prediction on Scott but I am not sure if it will come true. Scott was a speedy gingerbread man in Madden 11

    4. Jacoby Jones - Houston Texans

The reasoning here is simple. Every coach worth a damn is going to double Andre Johnson all game. With a running attack boosted with Arian Foster, Matt Schaub should be even more deadly through the air this year. Jacoby Jones is going to have a huge year, mark my words. I'm talking DJ Crosby numbers.

    MG's Season Prediction: 65 catches 743 yards 5 touchdowns

    3. Jason Campbell - Oakland Raiders

This is a Madden offense. Tons of speed at the halfback and wr position and a nice pass catching tight end in Kevin Boss. I really feel Campbell will have success as long as McFadden is making the defense second guess themselves. Surprise, surprise...I have Campbell putting upper echelon QB numbers up in 2011.

    MG's Season Prediction: 3040 yards 29 touchdowns 15 interceptions

    2. Daniel Thomas - Miami Dolphins
    [IMG]

This one was a no-brainer. With Ricky Williams and Ronnie Brown gone, and Reggie Bush still unable to run between the tackles, rookie Daniel Thomas is the go-to guy for the Phins this year. Although he might not be the highest rated guy (70 OVR) he has skills and will only get better. The Dolphins still have a solid offensive line and with Chad Henne at QB, I expect them to rely heavily on their run game. Thomas will be in the running for ROTY when all is said and done.

    MG's Season Prediction: 290 attempts 1189 yards 8 touchdowns

Campbell will be average at best... no chance in hell is he in the upper echelon.. if he is, I will eat my shorts.

I think Thomas will turn out good tho.. cause they are gonna have to run it a lot lol

    1. Christian Ponder - Minnesota Vikings
    [IMG]

WAIT, WAIT, WAIT! I know what you are thinking...how could Christian Ponder be a sleeper if he is on the bench? Well, get ready because I am about to launch a predator missile of knowledge square on your brain. Donovan McNabb will NOT start every game for the Vikings this year. Understand? He is rated very bad in this game (no accuracy) and has an injury rating of 82. That doesn't sound low, but an 82 for a QB getting sacked every game is extremely low. Ponder was granted a golden arm by the Madden gods (it remains to be seen how good it is in real life) with 84 throw power and 84 throw accuracy he is a well-balanced QB who won't miss a lot of easy passes to open receivers, which is really the only thing you could ask out of a rookie QB. In the end, I think the Vikings will name Ponder the starter sometime before week 5, even if McNabb does not get injured. From there on out I predict Ponder will be consistent and conservative for the Vikings, not make mistakes and hand AP the ball a lot. I also think he will succeed when asked to throw the ball. Here comes the biggest sleeper upset of all, the Vikings will sneak into the wild card spot at 9-7 behind Ponder and make the playoffs. Wild card spot? Yeah...the Bears are winning the NFC North.

MG's Season Prediction: 2245 yards 15 touchdowns 5 interceptions; leads Vikings to Wild Card birth
