Ole miss doesn't even play a team with a winning record for the rest of the year. Unless they travel to upset city, it looks like they are going to have a pretty smooth ride to the NC.

Assuming UCLA can get by a lowly Aggie squad, that Nebraska/UCLA game is going to be a doozy. Then they will likely meet in the conf champ game again. USC plays Oregon too, so that is another one to watch.

Rutgers needs to always be on a USER schedule, they are always a problem.

I would love to see the USC/Oregon game.

The A&M and UCLA game should be good, and so should the Nebraska UCLA game.

If UCLA doesn't get past both of these teams, the winner of the USC/Oregon game could be headed for the Big XII champ game.

I had all the problem children on the original schedule (Rutgers and Ole Miss in this case were both set to play users).

But, the schedules are ever more tricky this year with the custom conference set up. It takes a while to plan it all out. I don't think it would be possible to do custom conferences with three conferences and get the required amount of uvu games scheduled.

its too bad, these guys are gonna get a watered down Oklahoma.... cause the team i faced was damn beastly..... lucky mfers.....
sidenote: good luck to all involved, the Cavaliers are 7-1, but i think pummelling i took from Oklahoma will excluded me from this debate this season.....

Have we moved the sliders besides Run Block down? I thought that was the only change. Is run block at 55 versus run block at 50, really that big of a difference.

I can't speak to it, since last night was the first CPU game I have played in a while. I don't have a problem moving the run block down, while moving RB ability up in an effort to help CPU run game which may have taken a hit.

    Im just wondering here.

Yeah five points on these sliders this year is a HUGE difference. Last week I bumped the blocking down 5 points and then boosted RB ability 5 points. Results seem a bit better from last weeks games.

We need to start looking at rushing average of the good CPU teams and see what they are averaging. Teams like LSU/OK should be averaging close to 5 yards a carry.

If we can't move run block, I don't have a problem moving run ability up 5 until we get to the point where the good CPU teams really can run the ball. Im not trying to make every running back a cross between, Tecmo Okoye and Tecmo Bo Jackson, but so far I have stuffed the run of decent teams and I have a C+ rated Defense.

    Just food for thought.

So it looks like I'm bumping CPU RB ability up 5 pts. Should I dock our tackling?

That was your stance last year, too. Even when we could have given the CPU another guy on the field and still won by three scores. lol

I just beat Ohio State so everyone below that moves up one! (y)

Too bad PSU is sitting at 4-4 and will be lucky just to crack the top 25 again this year.

true, but its different this year.....

sidenote: The coach poll is giving UVA ZERO love..... were 7-1, beat the #4 Florida GAtors and the #5 ranked Hokies and ranked well behind multiple two loss teams, sitting at #14 with no shot at a BCS game unless we win the SEC conference crown....... (n)

    The Polls suck at life....

how exactly am I #7 behind Virginia Tech who i beat and also has 3 losses when we only have 1 and were in the same division that i have already wrapped up?

I cant even mention the 2 loss Trojans and Huskers who are ahead of us also......

    my thoughts to the pollsters....

I think what the pollsters did was consider that the Big XII's 5th or 6th best team, Oklahoma, went Goodfellas on Virginia, and that teams like USC, UCLA or Nebraska that can handle Oklahoma, that the poll seems about right.

As for Va Tech, well that is just funny, no way around that.

It is going to be interesting, the winner of the Big XII title game will probably go to the BCS national title game, even if it is Nebraska. They may end up playing USC if that happens, or possibly a 3 loss Va Tech team. I could very likely go undefeated in the regular season and end up in the Alamo Bowl if I lose to Nebrasksa.

Also, Florida was exposed as being a joke, and there is no way possible you are talking about wins against Hoosier as a big win. Hoosier, the human L, took a Florida team that was ridiculous and turned it into an also ran.

    Crazy but true.

when i played Florida and Oklahoma they were far from jokes though.... i got Oklahoma before the sliders were tweaked.... I played Hoosier just as he was bailing from the dynasty.... and i get to play Florida again...... in the conference title game...... i am not sure how a 3 loss team ( no offense -- Sanders) is even in the mix of national title talk.... The Hokies cant even win their conference title..... how can they be in a remote position to play for the national title?
