    2009 Projections for CUSA/MAC

I came across this and thought it was interesting. I don't buy into this kind of stuff because games are played ON THE FIELD, but interesting to read to kill time until next week all the same.

    Conference USA

    MAC

I guess it was pretty accurate last year in their pre season projections.

It's hard to know without knowing how good the players are.

I know one thing though, I'm losing my first game of the year (playing Penn State at Beaver Stadium).

Could be a chance to put your program on the map day one!

or not. I have a cupcake week one and then 2-4 are tough so I'll know where I stand pretty quick.

I like Houston and East Carolina in the CUSA. Houston will score like a video game in real life. My Pirates return a ton of guys from a really good team last year so my money is on them.

The MAC is interesting because CMU has a STUD QB LeFevour so does WMU Tim Hiller. Alot of people like Temple but I don't buy it.....I think Buffalo will be good, Your squad will be good. Anytime you have a great QB in that conference you have a chance so WMU might do something...hard to say.

Maybe we can do a little preseason poll by a coaches vote or something. I know we don't know anything about the actual play of the individuals the first year but still could be pretty cool.

    Man, that would be awesome.

I'm going to get that started right now (if someone else hasn't yet).

Well, that's the one thing that Akron does have. I'll probably end up having to switch playbooks my first season back to Akrons because I'm going to attempt to turn them into a fleXbox One option team, but, they really don't have the o-line to do it.

Shit, as terrible as I play, I'll be lucky to win one user vs user game.

The lag online (while only slight) still bothers the hell out of me.
