2009 Texas A&M Aggies Houston native Donald Booker sacks Humble native Jerrod Johnson Oklahoma State 38 Texas A&M 10 The Fightin Texas Aggies were completely out-classed in their Big XII opener vs. the Oklahoma State Cowboys. The #8 Cowpokes beat the Aggies by a score of 38-10 in front of a packed house at Kyle Field. The Ags were done in by turnovers, sacks and dropped passes. The Cowboys sacked Jr. QB Jerrod Johnson 6 times on the day, while the Aggie receivers dropped 7 passes. Those factors conspired to hold Johnson to a 51% completion rate and only 191 passing yards. The Aggie defense appeared to have the most trouble stopping Cowboy RB Kendall Hunter who averaged an eye-popping 8.4 yards per carry. QB Zac Robinson also had a nice day completing 13 of 18 passes for 204 yards and 2 touchdowns. The only true bright spot was heralded frosh running back Christine Michael who was able to scratch out 149 total (101 rushing) yards against a fast, aggressive Ok.St. defense.
