    Hawaii Warriors

2009-This season started off very badly for the Warriors going on a 6 game losing streak and a record of 2-6. Then things went bad to worse with the suspension of Head Coach Greg McMackin and the season ending injury to QB Greg Alexander. Things started to turn around with a 4 game win streak and the highlight of the season beating a very tough team in Navy. Hawaii had a chance to get a bowl invitation if they could win their last game. Unfortunatly they got stomped by Wisconsin 51-10.

What to watch for- Hawaii should have a loaded offense come kickoff 2010. All their Wide Receivers are back with even more depth. One major problm is the offensive line. They lost 4 starters and the replacements have very little experience. The defense is pretty much still intact with the whole secondary coming back that was ranked 35th in the nation in pass defense. The defense should be much improved from last year, especially in the run defense. On another note those uniforms are pretty nice. lol

    Idaho Vandals

2009- Idaho had a surprisingly great season in 2009. The last few season have been terrible at best for the Vandals but really came together this season winning 8 games and a bowl game. Last year they went 2-10. Losing to Nevada and Boise state by giving up a total of 133 points tarnished their season. Winning the Humanitarian bowl in a stunning last second victory 43-42 really put a stamp on a great season.

What to watch for-QB Nathan Enderle will have most of their skill players back but will be missing most of their line. The defense is bringing back 10 of their starters from last year led by beast Safety Shiloh Keo. The Vandals will be looking to have another good season but don't seem to have enough talent to win the WAC.

2009-The Bulldogs came into the 2009 season with high expectations, since they had alot of seniors returning. After losing a close game against Utah St. the season went into the crapper real quick. The offense was sloppy, the defense didn't make the stops when they needed it the most and they lost their next 4 games. To top it off they lost coach Derek Dooley to the Tennessee Volunteers. The defense finished second in the conference with yards allowed, scoring defense, and sacks.

What to watch for- Will new head coach Sonny Dykes shake upthings with a high tempo offense. Will he have the personnell to execute the new offense? The supposedly veteran offensive line of last year ended up starting three freshmen, and now they’re experienced, while the defensive back seven gets all the key parts back. The defensive front has alot of unexperienced players.

    Nevada Wolf pack

2009- The Wolf pack started off pretty slow. Offensively they had a hard time getting the ball moving. Losing the first three games to Notre Dame, Colorado State and Missouri the Wolf pack came together and finished this season strong, going on a 7 game win streak only to lose to Boise St in great WAC title game 44-33. The run game was surprisingly effective this year ut didn't show up in their Hawaii Bowl loss against SMU.

What to watch for- A strong run game. Kaepernick and a group of talented running backs return. This team is expected to avg 300 yards a game. QB Colin Kaepernick is expected to have a great year statistically. RB Taua, Mark, and Ball are also expected o have a great season. The defense is returning 7 starters but have a gap in the safety position.
