This season will be a very interesting one for the Colorado Buffaloes. Coming in as one of the lowest rated user teams in the Cream of the Crop for starters. Coach TRude loves to take on projects and this one was a no brainer. Never forgetting the Colorado programs of the 90's, TRude had them ranked #2 overall behind Virginia with his draft night picks.

At QB we have a 2headed monster supposedly. The media dubs it that, but TRude has already stated that unless there is an injury or garbage time then Cody Hawkins will not be playing this year. Hansen is the underclassman and has a more accurate ball which was the almighty decision maker.

The picture above is RB Rodney Stewart. Stewart will be the primary ball carrier since he has just enough of everything to make him a truely dangerous player for the Buffaloes. When he comes out the RB sizes, styles, and tendencies will largely remain the same. If Stewart can reel off 1,000 yards on the ground with minimal fumbles then this team will do just fine.

Now this picture is one of Scotty McKnight. McKnight is a 5th year senior and will definately be the lifeline for QB Tyler Hansen. Since Stewart can do just enough in the backfield, it should mean big things for the passing game. Look for McKnight to be one of the top receivers in the BigXII if not the whole NCAA.

The TE's on this team are subpar and will need some serious work under their new coach. They will be looked at more as blocking options first before pass catchers. Speaking of blocking, we have a solid Oline that should hold up pretty well. 2seniors, 2juniors, and a sophmore complete this bunch.

On defense the Buffaloes have a good mix of youth and experience. Anthony Perkins plays FS and is the leader of the D. 2 senior corners bring toughness and athleticism to the secondary. The same goes for LB where BJ Beatty and Michael Sipili will look to demolish opposing offenses. The defense finishes with a young and talented Dline. There will be a good rotation system to keep guys fresh and always attacking.

All in all this team is very confident and will find out where they stand in Cream this year in week 3 as they have a showdown against long time rival JCA. If they can make it out of that game 3-0 they could have the neccesary momentum needed to make a BigXII run!!!
