GEORGIA v. TENNESSEE
The young Volunteer team made the trip to Athens, GA for the annual rivalry game from the SEC East. They stumbled out of the gates with an underachieving defense and a few turnovers.
"We were fortunate to jump out on them early. We know the Vols can be a team that feeds off momentum and we didn't want to feed them anything. I am glad to get a win against a talented Volunteers team."
Andrew Murray threw three touchdowns all to receiver standout AJ Green. Washaun Ealey also had a great day running with over 100 yards on the ground. What really won the game was the defense who pitched a shutout. The only touchdown for the Vols came from a scoop and score by the NFL prospect Chris Walker.
At half time Coach Gyrene pulled the offensive and defensive starters. The offensive coordinator showed good sportsmanship and began a very conservative playcall set. The only touchdown for the Bulldogs in the second half from a pick 6.
Vandy v. Georgia
Georgia v. Kentucky The Bulldogs continue their impressive SEC play. The most impressive thing about this talented Georgia team is their defense. That says a lot considering the Bulldog offense has put up 116 points in their last 3 games, all of which were against tough SEC opponents. The underrated Bulldog defense began receiving recognition this week after three straight games of allowing no more than 7 points. Nonetheless, the Headcoach Gyrene76 states that there are much better teams to play in the future and there is still a lot of season. He did say that he was still impressed with his young team's play thus far.
Georgia v FloridaGeorgia extends their winning streak to 6 after a tightly contested SEC East battle in Gainesville. The first three quarters of the game was anyone's game. Both teams found a lot of holes in their opponents run defense and after 3 it was 28-24 in favor of the Bulldogs.
AJ Green continued to show his uncanny catching ability with a one handed catch in the endzone that really showed the mismatch Georgia coaching staff created against the smaller Gator secondary.
Demps was a beast on the ground rushing for over 200 yards on a solid Georgia defense. "We just didn't tackle today. It's not that we didn't tackle well, we didn't tackle period," said Coach JoshuaAdam88. However, the hard nosed football eventually wore down the Florida front 7 and in the final quarter of the contest 2 more touchdowns were scored on the ground. The game could have went either way with a couple of big plays extra from either side. The Bulldogs are now looking to take the SEC East and hopefully make it to a SEC title game.
How the hell do they average 10 yard a carry, throw for 300 yards, and not turn the ball over... and still lose by 15 points. /boggle
12.5% on third down, that's how.
Demps was unstoppable...he broke so many tackles
Georgia v FCS WestThe kindness of Coach Gyrene has the sports world talking. He repeatedly ordered his running backs to dive, and dive, and dive. Their running backs were actually running away from the goal line. It was uncanny how many tackles Georgia broke and it seemed they could have easily scored 200 points if they tried. They still showed good sportsmanship and handled the game like champs.
GEORGIA v AUBURNThe Oldest Rivarly in the Deep South featured two top SEC schools in their quest for a conference championship. The atmosphere was electric as the Georgia Bulldogs got off to a slow start against the Tigers. The Bulldogs played a very sloppy game; particularly on special teams. With 3 missed field goals and a kick off returned for a touchdown."Had our special teams played to their ability this game would not have been as close and I mean no disrespect to the Auburn Tigers. They are a great program, but our boys just under achieved on that side of the ball."The Bulldogs felt they played well on offense with only 1 turnover on a fumble. The tough running of Ealey and King literally carried them to this difficult victory.
"We have a bye week coming up then we will play our rival Georgia Tech in the last game of the regular season. We need a win there to catapult us into the SEC Championship. But now we are focusing on Georgia Tech Yellow Jackets and their Triple Option offensive scheme."

Wow... sounds like a hell of a game.
It was rough man....
we both were getting our big receivers in the slot (Green and Jones) and the run games were devastating. Bama is a tough team man.
