2010: Week 1 vs. Washington State

The Cowboys struggled early with the Cougars as the first quarter ended with 10 - 10 tied score. Then Oklahoma State erupted for 17 second quarter points to lead 24 - 10 at the half. After a clipping penalty backed them up to their own 10 yardline, Junior QB Brandon Weeden found Hubert Anyiam behind the Cougar secondary for a 90 yard run and catch. On the afternoon, Anyiam hauled in eight passes for 293 yards and three touchdowns to capture game MVP honors. Fellow JR wideout also eclipsed the century mark with 129 yards and 5 receptions of his own while Weeden ended his first collegiate start with 512 passing yards four touchdowns and an early interception.

The defense played shaky and other than the second quarter and early third played inconsistently. The defense surrendered 551 yards of total offense to the Cougars but forced two turnovers, including an intercepted option pitch by SR LB Justin Gent for a 76 yard return touchdown. The defense and the rest of the Cowboys will have an early week off before hosting the #2 Ohio St Buckeyes at Boone Pickens Stadium in a battle of the OSUs.

Good win Suge, 293 yards and 3 TD's with your WR, wow! My Texas secondary better eat their wheaties when the cowboys come to town.

But that'll be full of everything. If anyone wants to see the history of just OSU, this is the place to find it.
