An ugly win, but still a win by Nebraska in Mississippi. They shut down pretty much everything, and i did the same to them. It was 11-7 going into the 4th quarter, when i forced two fumbles that set me up with a short field and i capitalized on it for two TD's.

My rushing game was pretty bad other than the option, really like my squad this season.

I didn't get a chance to post last night after my game, but DAMN the slider changes have really made a difference. I was VERY lucky to get out of OLe Miss with a win. My RB's averaged under 4.0 yds per carry which i think is the first time ever that has happened against the CPU. This will be a very challenging year against the highly rated CPU teams. I dont know if Ole miss is a good running team or not, but that was the only weak spot in their whole team. I hope the CPU keeps playing like that.

I like seeing good CPU teams giving good USER teams a fight.

I was checking in on Mutt's game, and noticed that it was 11-7 in the fourth quarter.

    I LIKE IT!!!

remember that those are good CPU teams, too. If we start seeing challenges like that from Troy and Baylor then we probably need to loosen the sliders.

Yeah, I was only up 14-3 going into the 4th and at the half up 7-3. But then again with the wife calling the plays she loves old school Steeler football, RUN-RUN-RUN DOWN YOUR THROAT.......ha ha ha!!!!

But I really do like these scores and games verse the computer.

    Receiving:
    Demaryius Thomas/6-94 yds/1 TD
    Tyler Melton/2-67 yds

I wasn't able to get my running game going like I usually can. When I would come out
on the option play there would always be about 3 or 4 defenders on me right away.

Starting QB Josh Nesbitt is out 2 weeks with an injury. BBJ gets to face the great
    Jaybo Shaw next week.

You guys that struggled to run, was it because you couldn't get your blocks and defenders were always in the backfield, or because you couldn't break any tackles?

For me it was defenders in the backfield, guys just were not holding blocks, my RB looked slow and average against a poor Fresno D.

Dont get me wrong, i like the challenge. I need another game or two to really give a strong opionion on what is going on, but it really made a difference in the Awarness of the defense i think.

It was more about blocking. My FB was able to break a couple tackles, but as soon as my runners would get the ball they would be surrounded by defenders.

That pretty much confirms what I was afraid of. I feared that the User Run blocking would work much the same as it did for the CPU. Where moving just 5 pts causes a drastic difference. Looks like I'll move it back up 5. If we still have dumb running stats then I'll knock the RB ability down to compensate.

Good game Lawdog. Was a fun one. I started lagging for no reason midway through the 3rd quarter which had my guys running in circles and 2 seconds late for any move I made. Lawdog was up 21-13 at this point, so it's not an excuse, it just took some of the fun out of trying to make a comeback. I really struggled to run the ball against his defense. His offense was solid, no huge plays but a couple big runs and a 3rd and 25 conversion were the biggest he made on O. We also each threw INT's in the red zone due to the floating duck syndrome. It would be a much cooler feature if 85% of those fell to the ground, rather than 100% of them being available for a play to be made on. Pretty frustrating for both of us.

I thought I played okay in my first user game in the league. I have to make some adjustments due to a little different style of play than I am used to, but that will come in time. Good win OM, and good luck the rest of the way!

    #4 Oregon 32
    #14 Notre Dame 28

On a game that featured 10 turnovers, Oregon goes to South Bend and steals one; was down 28 to 17 without the ball to start the 4th quarter. Battle all the way back to go up 32-28 with 28 seconds left, I have flashbacks of the Oklahoma game so I kick it straight up in the air. On the 1st play I call velcro and Notre Dame dumps it over the middle to there TE who proceeds to run over my whole team, no really he broke like 5 tackles all the way down to my 7 yards line and I figure game over. ND calls a time out and proceeds to call a HB pass and Armondo Allen makes the worst pass I have ever seen and it gets picked in the back of the endzone. The computer is no joke this year, they broke so many tackles it was crazy. Masoli threw 5 picks and was sacked 7 times, not good.
