Well looky looky! My class just gets better and better!

Saddle up for OU! We've played well at College Station this year, with 2 straight top 25 upsets (Mizzou and Tech) in the past 3 weeks. Can we shock the Sooners and start BCS madness?

Z chose a good time to leave. After the bye week, the Badgers came out firing on all cylinders right from the start. The opening drive was an 11 play drive taking 4 minutes off the clock and ending with a 4 yard Clay TD run. 3 plays later, MLB St Jean jumped in front Purdue's QB TerBush pass for a clean pick 6. From that point the rout was on. Clay went for 146 yards with 4 TDs. Heisman candidate Toon only had 3 catches but cashed them in for 86 yards and a score. When asked about his Heisman chances being hurt by the run game, Toon said, "I'm just happy we got the win. I shouldn't have to have 10 catches a game to stay in the race. If I can show that I can still make big plays on limited chances, that should stand out." Coach Mexi called the game an "Overall satisfying game." "I was really impressed by the defense," Mexi said. "We got pressure with only 4 so we stayed in Man Cover 2 most of the game. This is good for their confidence cause weve been prone to giving up big plays and keeping lesser opponents in the game." Next game is against an overacheving Indiana team. The defense will once again have to limit the big plays.

    #9 Wisconsin 42 - Purdue 0

    2010 Week 10
    #13 Oregon State Beavers – 0
    UCLA Bruins - 26

Pasadena, CA – The UCLA Bruins end their 5 game losing streak in style, shutting out the 13th ranked Beavers from Oregon State, 26-0. The Bruins keep their slim bowl chances alive and improve to 4-5 on the season, 2-4 in the Pac 10.

Richard Brehaut made his first start of the season, replacing turnover prone Sophomore Kevin Prince. Breahuat did exactly what the coaches wanted, he didn’t turn the ball over and made plays when he had to. Breahuat hit WR Nelson Rosario for 2 TD passes. Kai Forbath took care of the rest of the scoring, hitting on all 4 of his field goal attempts.

The UCLA defense was solid throughout, holding the Beavers to just 150 total offense. All-American HB Jacquizz Rodgers was limited to just 39 yards on 15 carries. The Bruin defense also forced one turnover, an interception of Ryan Katz, while the Bruins offense did not turn the ball over the entire game.

UCLA hopes to continue its winning ways next week with a trip north to Huskie Stadium to take on the Washington Huskies in conference play.

    OU 31 @ TAMU 3

OU absolutely dismantled the Aggies defense, showing how far Texas A&M has to go to get into the top tier of the league. Oklahoma looked very sharp in the in all 3 phases of the game, and in every aspect of each phase, while TAMU struggled in every phase and ultimately caught few breaks throughout the day.

"Bad luck, and bad play are a sickening combo in any game, but against a team like Oklahoma, where you have to play perfect to compete with them, it's absolutely deadly" Coach Pesho-Davis said after the game. "Our linebacker play needs to get better. It's been this way all season, where at times we look absolutely lost. It's frustrating, we just have to get better, there's no time for self pitty. We have a challenging schedule still to go".

The coach of the Sooners was not immediately available after the game, but in a phone conference, he mentioned: "Those guys played a pretty good game, we were just better athletically. I thought it might be a closer game, but they just couldn't ever get going. The holding call on the first drive of the second half was brutal on them. They were threatening to make a game of it, and they lost all momentum".

It just seemed as if the Aggies almost tossed in the towel after that offensively. Receivers dropping footballs, Qb's missing wide open receivers, and the offensive line looked sluggish. It really was a poorly played game. On the other hand, the Sooners played their usual solid football and did not slouch, even when the game was over.

Jeremiah Masoli passed for 220 yards and had 2 tds (1pass 1 run) and LaMicheal James and Kenron Barner each scored on the ground once to lead the Ducks. Jake Locker was shut down and not very effective. Next up is Cal.

    Purdue - 10

Easy win for big blue but not without a price. Denard "shoelace" Robinson had just locked down the starting role after a huge week previous to the Purdue game but unfortunately is now out for most of the remainder of the season with an injury.
