I dont know about you guys but I think the sliders are just about right. Almost lost this one, mostly because of the sloppy field and turnovers. I lost 2 fumbles, threw 2 picks and was down 15-10 in the 4th. I managed to hold onto the ball and score. My defense sealed the deal in the end. They forced 4 fumbles but were unable to recover not a single one of them. Alot of CPU games this week so let me know what you think of the games!

I was up 35-7 and on my way to another cpu blowout, but then ol' momentum switched. Wake stopped truning the ball over and the Hokies offense stalled. Pass defense is very suspect giving up another 300+ in the air. But worst of all Ryan Williams is out 10 weeks. Tore his pec on his very first carry.

Damn, thats a big blow losing Williams. I've been without my #1 RB for the first 6 games this season and have struggled to get any kind of consistent running attack. Im hoping he'll be back next week as the last 2 weeks he has been questionable.

So Hokie, thumbs up or down on the sliders? I know it was Wake but they at least seem a bit more difficult, especially to run against?

The first half was fairly easy as I jumped out 35-7, Wakes first 2 plays were fumbles. But second half I had to work for yards and Wake made a great comeback and I only won by 7. It was Wake so who knows.

Anyone with the game on or access to the Dynasty Wire? Let me know where who has games left. I was hoping we could advance tonight after our lone user game is completed (Texas and Nebraska). So if you got a CPU game, try and get it done!

    Vandy-7
    #14 UGA-42

The offense was firing on all cylinders as I was 7 yds from having three 100 yd rushers in this game. With the new gameplan in place and touches divided up between 5 rushers, that'll give you an idea how atrocious Vandy's defense is. With the new sliders last week, Tennessee stifled my running game. Vandy lost 3 DL and a LB for the game to injury and the ones that stayed in spent most of the game on their backs. The game ball in this one goes to my defense, who pestered the Commodore QB most of the game. Washaun Ealey was back over the century mark, after a brief hiatus, with 147 yds and 2 TD's. He didn't play after the first drive of the second half. I did find that Carlton "Don't call me Carlton Banks, even though I'm like 5-7 in real life" Thomas is a great compliment to the bruising true freshman Ken Malcome. The Dawgs rushing attack is loaded for the next couple of seasons.

    WEEK 5: Ole Miss(20) @ Alabama(34)

    1st Quarter
    5:55 – Ole Miss TD(Bolden, 56 yd run) 7-0 Ole Miss

    2nd Quarter
7:27 – Ole Miss Saftey(Marrow tackled in endzone) 9-0 Ole Miss
    5:49 – BAMA TD(Green 58 yd fumble return) 9-7 Ole Miss
    1:31 – Ole Miss FG(29 yd) 12-7 Ole Miss
    0:32 – BAMA TD(Ingram, 6 yd run) 14-12 BAMA
    0:00 – BAMA FG(22 yd) 17-12 BAMA

    3rd Quarter
    5:25 – BAMA TD(McElroy to Jones, 34 yd pass) 24-12 BAMA
1:43 – BAMA TD( McElroy to Williams, 16 yd pass) 31-12 BAMA

    4th Quarter
    3:14 – BAMA FG(42 yd) 34-12 BAMA
2:55 – Ole Miss TD(Stanely to Breaux, 11 yd pass; 2 pt conversion) 34-20 BAMA

Alabama started slowly again and Ingram was finally held under 100 yds on a full load of work. Ole miss outgained BAMA by almost 100 yards and Brandon Bolden ran all over the BAMA defense.(162 yd) The Tide could be in a world of hurt if they continue to be late starters, especially when they head to Virginia Tech to take on the undefeated Hokies in week in two weeks.

Offensive Gameball – Julio Jones(4 cathces for 110 yd and a TD)

    Defensive Gameball – Robbie Green(8 tkls, 1 INT, 1 FFum, 1 FumRec, 1 TD)

I am just glad Russel Sheppard isn't playing for Bama. I remember our last game (VT vs LSU) and I am guesing this one will be a good one as well. Just sucks I will be without Williams.

In a thrilling game, South Carolina stuffed a dump pass at the 2 yard line to seal a 21-14 victory over Kentucky. Once again, Kentucky took 3 plays to score on the opening drive of the game, only to be SHUT DOWN for 3 more quarters. Defense shut out SC in the 1st half, only to watch it score 3 tds to win it. 2 drives late for UK, 1 a td and the last one stalled at the 2, but a thriller nonetheless. Full write up in the summary thread tomorrow at some point.
