If by some miracle you guys can all get your games in tonight, that would be great. I have a user game with Dakota and wont be around friday night (date night with the wife) or saturday night (UCLA game again...Houston comes to town, they might put up 100 points on our defense). So I know most of the games are in. Do your best to get them in so Dakota and I can possibly play tonight (that is if you can play tonight Dakota). If we cant, no worries, we'll advance as scheduled.

In a game which probably will determine the Big 10 champion, the Badgers failed on taking control. It was the little things that hurt this team. Throwing an INT to Toon cause it was under thrown. Had it been thrown on target, would have been a good gain. A dropped INT which could have been a pick 6. A missed sack on 3rd down which Pryor converted. A CRUCIAL missed knockdown by the safety on 3rd down that would have given the ball back with 5 minutes left in the game with the score 17-14. Thats the big one that got me. Ohio St put up 21 points after that as I had to turn up the aggressiveness. Toon was held to his worse game, 1 ctach for 16 yards, as the Buckeyes corners completely shut him down. TE Kendricks was the lone star, as he had 10 catches for 123 yards and 2 TDs and was the reason the game was close for the most part. It now seems to be a battle for 2nd, as the nest two teams are on the road against Iowa and Purdue, both of who are vying for 2nd also. The next 2 weeks will shape Wisconsin's season.

    #7 Ohio St 38 - #10 Wisconsin 14

Gilbert Rallies Horns with Huge 2nd Quarter

    Texas 41
    Nebraska 14

For 3 quarters the Texas offense was continually frustrated as the Cornhuskers consistantly stuffed the run, allowing less than 2.5 yards per rush to the Longhorns. In the second Quarter coach whygod gave qb Gilbert the green light to go nuts and air it out, Gilbert most certainly did. In the 2nd quarter, Gilbert threw 5 TD passes and the majority of his 418 passing yards. In the second half, the Lornhorns resumed watching DTs destroy there drives.

Coach WhyGod was reached for comment:
Coach whygod was fined by the university for likening a successfull offense to a rapist.

The Aggies finally put together 4 full quarters of football, shocking the 5-0 Mizzou Tigers on Kyle Field at College Station. Chris Gray ran for 103 yards and a td, and backup qb Tommy Dorman navigated the offense very carefully, only throwing for 130 yards, but with only 1 interception, he wasn't careless with the ball. Dorman also ran for a td and the defense scored twice to get a much needed victory at home.

Full Summary in GS Thread later tonight

BTW, disregarding the fact that I won, I felt this was a perfect slider match. I don't think it changed from last week but I just played a smarter game I think. My defense was bend but don't break, and Gabbert and Mizzou drove the field all day it seemed, but couldn't finish enough. They went for 400 yards, (407 pass, -7 rush), and I only went for like 230. But they didn't try to run hardly ever with the no-huddle and they were running alot side to side. They did have a couple decent runs, but sacks killed the total. I played a ball control, don't turn it over offense and it worked out quite nicely for me cause my defense made some huge plays, most notably an intercepted lateral pitch inside their 5 yard line in the first half to give me the lead for good. The game was up for grabs as they had a shot to win it on the final drive but I snuffed a screen pass out and he decided not to throw it and take a sack, problem was, he fumbled and we pounced on it and took it in. What a fun game.
