The Hokies took control of this game early with a 27-10 lead and looked to run away with this one, but 2 pick 6's and an 82yd TD swing pass to Ingram and we had a ball game. Taylor left the second half due to injury and the Tech offense struggled, but managed to complete a last minute drive to kick a FG for the win. GG ShortBus.

This one was a close game at half. 13-10 lead for the Noles. Then my offense finally clicked. The Seminoles outscored the Wolfpack 28-0 in the 3rd quarter and cruised to victory on the road. HB Jermaine Thomas made his return after a week 1 injury and rushed for 83 yards on 17 carries with 2 TD's. Christian Ponder had a nice day as well, going 13/19 for 235 yards and 2 TD's. However, the Noles lose 2 defensive starters for some significant time as DT Jacobbi McDaniel and LB Nigel Bradham both were injured.

---Wow, offensively I couldn't do ANYTHING. Lee was ineffective again and I went to FR-QB backup Martinez and he gets hurt on his 1st play for the game. Lee came in and was much more composed. My defense came up huge with two big turnovers in the 4th quarter and Mizzou missed a FG with 31 seconds to go to tie the game....phew!

My team is horrible. I had 12 drops in this game and I still had every chance in the world to win it. My #1 HB is injured, the only reciever I have that can catch is injured. I think I was 14-46 passing.

I've had to set my catching to conservative, and my wideouts and especially backs drop way too many balls. Also, my star rb Locke won't stop fumbling. It's become a gamekiller. Not from the game's standpoint in general, but from game to game for me, simply because it happens in the most critical of situations.

I don't know what to do about my db's, they sit there and watch the other team make a catch no matter my gameplan set. I just can't believe it most of the time. On the other hand, the cpu db's are stepping in front of everything. Turnovers this season have been my absolute death. It doesn't help that the accuracy of either qb is really bad. Wide open doesn't even come close to meaning "wide open".

I also lost a WR this week, he left sitting on the ole' driving cart, holding his wrist and waving to the fans. It's a cool sight from a gaming standpoint, but an arm injury? lol Walk off the field son! Show some Bluegrass Pride! :D

    Sorry for skankin it up!

    OU-42
    CU-14

    Colorado sucks.
Landry Jones had his best game yet going 13 of 27 for 301 yds and 3 TDs with 0 ints. Jermie Calhoun had 5 total TDs of his own and Jonathon Nelson led the D with 2 pics.

I finally had my 'aha' moment with this game so hopefully I won't be blown out the next time I play a user. I went 3-0 today with 1 win being this game and the other 2 with WKU (worst team in the game) in my league against a user and also @ Kentucky.

In recruiting news, OU got a few more commits:

:5stars: DT Matt Wright 6'4 247 from Edmond, OK
    C+ str/hitp/tak/purs
    C pmv/fmv/bsh/agi
    C- speed
beat out UGA, Aub and UO
pretty strong candidate for a move to DE if I go 3-4.

:4stars: DT Brandon Jefferson 6'1 286 from Evergreen, CO
    B str/pmv
    B- bsh
    C- tak/htpw/purs
I came from nowhere to steal him from ASU. (it's good to be an elite program)
big, strong, run stuffing 3 technique

3 players from CO in this class so far. By preseason next year, I'll have built pipelines into CO, CA, FL and possibly LA.

Im having the same problems in the Legacy with UCLA. Im sitting at 3-6 with about zero chance of a bowl game with games against USC and Florida on the schedule.

I think having "bad" teams is much harder in this version than the last and our sliders don't help the little guy too much. Kentucky and K-State, if you guys want to switch teams at the end of the season let me know.

Once gwill plays we can adavance. Nole is in Vegas so Georgia is on Auto. Get that game in today gwill. You were on all day yesterday playing COD so I know you were around. You have until 10pm PST tonight. As the rules state, we don't wait around for CPU games.

I always set my big runs to conservative and if my RB doesn't have a high break tackle, I won't try to gain extra yards. That helps me not fumble the ball as much as I did when I first started playing.

I'll probably just stick with K-State. Maybe if I get a couple of decent recruiting classes, I can at least beat the CPU. If not, it will be easy user wins for you guys.

Thanks. Bama is a great team, they just never established a running game. Looks like my game with Miami will have huge implications and if things go my way we may have yet another meeting in the ACC CG. Just wish I still had Williams....

    VT Hokies-30
    Bama Crimson Tide-27

Aside from a 30 yd run, Ingram was nonexistent in the running game. The Hokie defense was all over my backs instantly after they got the ball. Bama had to go to the passing game, which had its best passing day yet. McElroy threw for 290 yds and 1 TD with zero picks. I was able to take advantage of the aggressive blitzing of the Hokies and made them pay early and often, but stalled once i got to the redzone. Fortunately, the defense kept me in the game with 3 picks(2 for TD's) and lots of QB pressure.

Hokie is a tough coach and can strategize with the best of them. I could not keep the running game from making me look like a fool with my jock strap lying on the ground. I was able to get the Hokies into quite a few 3rd and longs, but could not keep the ball from getting to Davis despite have my defense focus on him and triple coverage at times. I could not stop the Hokie offense period.
