A great coach is not only measured by championships, wins, and losses, but also his affect on his players, and his affect on college football. Cocky Marine has begun to show glimpses of the traits that only the great ones have. This man has totally improved the culture and the confidence of the whole state of South Carolina. He has turned the once lowly GameCocks into a contender. Quite possibly a "Program." "A pipeline to Championships," " A pipeline to the Pro's."

In 2011 SOuth Caroilina had 1 bad night, then, the GameCocks were a model of consistency. Some say perfect. And then, when it all mattered most, Coach Cocky went all in...To WIN IT ALL. It wasn't the field goal that won the National Championship for South Carolina...It was the gameplan. It was the confidence. It was the swagger.........It was the best coach in the country on 1 sideline against another sideline coached by a coach who just couldn't get it done. Wouldn't get it done. May never get it done.

South Carolina had no pressure entering the Nationa championship game, but when the pressure arrived, the previously named Coach of the Year was who he was ...The Best!!WE all knew that if it came down the the wire, the best would win, the best would get it done. The best would simply be himself,.....He would win.....He would be the best!

    1. Since being named coach of the year, what has been your most savory moment.

    2. Coach Cocky, you have burst out of the Steve Spurrier shadow. Something like a RockStar. When it's all said and done, how do you feel your career will stack up against some of the All-time Greats, such as Bryant, Holtz, Johnson, Parterno?

    3. How do you feel about receiving the keys to the city?

    4. Do you think your program can maintain this sudden success. Many are saying that your team just drew a lucky straw, and had to win one game.

    5. What coach in the country would keep you up at night, preparing for a Saturday evening matchup.

    The best.

    I already had them.

Of course. Those who think 12 wins in a row is just luck needs to give up football.
