Florida State Preview As you can see, FSU has a lot of talent. Coach BigKing's team looks to be the early favorite in capturing the ACC title and could find themselves in national championship hunt. Offense Florida State's season will depend on the development of junior QB E.J. Manuel. A big time recruit from three years ago, he has an opportunity to be the missing piece of the puzzle for the Seminoles. If he's up to the challenge, there's no telling how high this team can reach. Manuel will be able to rely on a strong running attack, anchored by junior Chris Thompson who should easily surpass the 1000 yard mark. FSU's diverse playbook should provide plenty of opportunity for it's athletes to shine. Defense Defensively the Seminoles are loaded with talent, led by junior DE Brandon Jenkins. FSU's secondary while young, has game changing ability. Moving to the 3-3-5 defense will allow FSU to keep it's most athletic playmakers on the field. There is no doubt this unit should be one of the strongest in the country.
