    Las Vegas Bowl
    Oregon - 26
    Air Force - 12

Oregon ended the year on a high note by defeating Air Force 26-12 in the Las Vegas Bowl. The Duck defense led the way by holding Air Force on third downs (2-for-13).

The first quarter was highlighted by a 72-yard touchdown run by Clark for Air Force. Air Force kept its lead through much of the first half as Oregon's offense didn't start to click until late in the second when LeMichael James capped off a nine-play drive with a touchdown to put Oregon up 7-6. However, Air Force answered with a field goal to end the half up 9-7.

Two thrid quarter touchdown passes by D. Hawkins, one rushing and one throwing, gave Oregon a 20-9 edge that they would later enhance with two fourth quarter field goals as they went on to shut the Air Force offense down and win 26-12.

James rushed for 143 yards on 28 attempts and Hawkins, filling in for the injured Daron Thomas, threw for 158 yards and a touchdown.

    Texas - 48
    Boise State - 7

Cedric Ingram led the Longhorns to victory over the Broncos as Texas beat Boise State for the second time the season. The true freshman quarterback went 17 for 29 for 308 yards with 2 touchdowns and an interception. Fozzy Whittaker and Tre Newton shredded the Broncos defense for 201 yards and 3 touchdowns. Senior Aaron Williams led the defense with another interception for a score. He took the pick back 44 yards.

Up next for the Longhorns is the well deserved offseason. Hopefully, next season will be as successful as this.

Champs Bowl and Outback Bowl left. If those can get played today, maybe we can get to the BCS title game tonight. That would keep us on schedule for our 1 night offseason advance on Monday.

Just read you can't play tonight....well it looks like I will have a snow day tomorrow so anytime Monday will work.

A dominating performance by Clemson's once highly touted senior class. A class that never lived up to expectations. On this day, however, the seniors could leave the field for the final time with smiles on their faces.

Michigan's offense turned the ball over four times inside its own red zone en route to a 17 to 37 loss to Georgia. JR QB Denard Robinson was responsible for all four, a fumble and three INTs, in another big game let down. Robinson threw for a TD and ran for another but his costly TO's doomed UM. Several Michigan Seniors had big games including Darryl Stonum with 9 catches for 182 yards and Mike Martin's 5 tackles 3 for a loss and 1 sack.
