    2011 Offseason Players Leaving

We are at the players leaving stage.

We will advance again tomorrow night around 1030pm EST, depending on when I get home from work.

We'll advance once per day until this weekend. If we can get everyone on together sometime this weekend we can knock out the rest of the offseason.

I'm unable to do it during the week since I'm working like 14 hours a day this week. But hopefully we can do it this weekend.

TJ Lawerence can be swayed, he's only a 94. The rule is greater than 94. Not equal to or greater than 94.

Yeah. Your 2nd post says 94+ so I went off of that. I checked the rules and it says 95+ there.

    Tennessee Players leaving:

    Thinking of Leaving early:

CB Jr Jackson 92 overall -> Staying
HB Jr Brown 93 overall -> Staying
    HB (rs)So OKu 89 overall -> Staying

    Graduating:
    Column 1 Column 2 Column 3
    Name Pos Rating
    Evans WR 95
    Lathers Rolb 89
    Johnson FB 88
    Sawtelle G 92
    King LOLB 86
    Fleming CB 84
    Waggner SS 91
    Thornton MLB 88
    Coleman QB 92
    Anderson FS 82

Big loses Sawtelle and Coleman. I ran behind sawtelle all year, my running game will miss him. I have no one to replace coleman really at all. I will be starting an ~80 overall qb next year. I think I have 4 young QBs all at 77 overall currently.

Getting those three players to return should help the Vols prospect this year and the next.

All 11 scholarship available to Tennessee have been given and the roster is set at 71.

I will not be doing any offseason recruiting. Have no fear of Tenn stealing your recruits.

FSU lost quite a lot in their 16 graduating players, 14 of which were rated 90 or higher. Talked the nice redshirt freshman outside linebacker into stay though, we deemed he was far too talented to transfer to a school like Memphis.

Suprisely no one wanted to leave early....guess they want to come back and prove 2011 was a fluke. I did lose I think 14 seniors, 13 which were 90+. So next season will be an experiment and I am really looking foward to it.

Alabama picks up a solid HB transfering in from Auburn. He'll have to sit out a year, but thankfully you've got Richardson anyways.

I wish we could go through the off season online via a laptop. That would make it so much easier.

You think it would be possible and a great addition/feature.....if they would get rid of teambuilder they would have plenty of bandwith on their site. I personally have never used the teambuilder feature and wouldn't be upset if they got rid of it.

It's a nice feature tho. So in depth! I want them to implement, more than anything, a spectator feature! It would be incredible to, for those high stake title or rivalry type games, be able to jump in to the stands and spectate! It wouldn't be that difficult to implement! And I'm sure it would be so popular! It would be awesome! Anyone agree?

Possibly but I think we are the minority. I am sure that 99% of the NCAA population does not participate in the type of leagues that we enjoy. Therefore a spectator mode would only benefit our 1%.

Well, our leagues are different, but pretty much everyone i know that plays NCAA plays some type of online dynasty. And even if we are a minority, it wouldn't cut into their budget much just to implement a spectator feature. It's very simple.

Is everyone accepting their transfers? If so, we can skip to week 1 of offseason recruiting today.

This is an interesting comment you made. I agreed with it before as I thought teambuilder was stupid. I'd rather play with real teams than fake ones any day.

However, this is a critical step for EA sports and us as fans. With team builder, you can still create the same teams that are already in the game, like UF, VaTech and such. I'd imagine soon they will add to the development the ability to create players via the internet.

All of this will be critical in the future if EA eventually loses a lawsuit that doesn't allow them to put essentially the real players in the game. With this technology, we the gaming community will be able to create the real life players and EA will be able to skirt around the issue of not paying amatuers for their persona's.

I vote that we skip it anyway.

If someone wants to refuse a transfer, then they can announce it now. Then they are allowed to recruit the normal 71 + the transfer they don't want. When it comes to cut time, they have to cut the guy (if they signed more than 70).
