The 2011 Oklahoma State Cowboys feature a team poised to make some noise, not only in the Big 12, but on a national level as well.

The offense is loaded this season starting with Senior QB Brandon Weeden, a potential Davey O'Brien winner win all is said and done. Justin Blackmon heads a very talented WR corp, Blackmon is 1st team All-America to start the season. The RB's are not to be outdone, some real burners in the group including 2nd team All-Big 12 Joesph Randle and incoming Freshmen Hershel Sims. The Offensive Line features four Senior starters, all rated 88 or above. As long as the defense holds up their end of the game, this team could be unstoppable.

The defense features some real talent is the secondary. CB Brodrick Brown is an impact player entering his Junior season. Both Safeties come in above 86 in rankings. The rest of the defense is filled with solid, although not spectacular talent. As long as the force some turnovers and can hold the opposition to some field goals, head coach Ultimate Warrior will not be disappointed.

    WEEK 1

    Alabama @ Oklahoma State

State went up early with a 79 yard TD run by Joseph Randle. The line set up the play beautifully and Randle just hit the after burners from there. On Bama's first possession of the game, Trent Richardson fumbled and Broderick Brown returned the fumble 54 yards for the score.

In the 2nd quarter, Brandon Weeden hit Justin Blackmon twice for TD throws, one for 15 yard and the other for 39 yards. In the 2nd half, the Pokes scored on a pick 6 and Randle scored yet again on a 79 yard run. The game was never in doubt!

    Week 2

    Oklahoma State @ Georgia Tech

Georgia Tech won the coin toss and elected to kickoff, that was their biggest mistake of the day!

On the Pokies first possession their no huddle offense was to much to handle:

Georgia Tech scored a field goal on their first possession, keeping the game close.

The next possession for Oklahoma State started like this:

After stalling in the red zone, OKST had to settle for a field goal.

The next possession, Georgia Tech had Oklahoma State pinned down on a long 3rd and 16.

You can't leave Justin Blackmon open, he will destroy you! That possession ended with another field goal.

The second half was full of more of the same.

A good effort from Georgia Tech, but the Cowboys were just too much! Oklahoma State 27 Georgia Tech 3
