The first set of Power Rankings for 2011 feature the Big Ten conference as the power players, but the SEC is waiting to take back its crown. Iowa is our current top dog. Until tables are added it will need to be to be presented in this format. These are subjective to many factors and are basically a bunch of BS so take for what is worth. 1. Iowa: Ranked #2 in the polls the Hawkeyes beat LSU in a user-user game but still have matchups against OSU and PSU. 2. OSU: Ranked #3 beat Miami in a user-user matchup but still play OSU and PSU. 3.PSU: #5 ranked team beat Alabama at home in a user-user matchup, but still play OSU and Iowa. 4.Clemson: Ranked #13 the Tigers have a huge win at then #6 Boise State, but need more pizazz to break the top 3. 5.Florida: Ranked #11 unbeaten and untested...for now. A win against Alabama could propel them into the top 3. 6. Alabama: Ranked #7 the loss at PSU hurts but a win against Florida would really help the pain. 7.GTech: Ranking #22 Big win versus ND, but the one loss prevents them from really climbing the polls. 8.LSU: Ranked #6 but with a big loss to the Hawkeyes they sit low on our poll. 9.Notre Dame: Ranked #12 A loss to Georgia Tech is a blemish, and with a tough schedule in front of them it won't get easier for Coach Griffin. 10.FSU: Ranked #15 Could be at 8 in our polls but rankings carry the day against the Irish. 11. South Carolina: Unranked the Cocks need to make noise in the SEC east but rebuilding is never easy. 12.Miami: Unranked the Hurricanes two losses put them heads and shoulders below the other teams for now.
