Toledo is the new Broncos victim. With the game tied at 3 at half, the offense used some big plays to score touchdowns. First was HB Drake's 61 yard rush for 6. After a Toledo interception, QB Crader hit WR Arnheim for a 46 yard score. Ponder took a bubble screen 51 yards to the one, where the FB Smith got it in. The defense did their job, picking off 3 passes and allowing only 183 total yards. The field goals given up were due to bad field position for them. Miami (OH) is up next in the MAC.

    Western Michigan 34 - Toledo 6

Is FIU, going to sign a recruit? I have a feeling when I get home I need to do a special report on contenders for worst recruiting class. It is my understanding Idaho is getting some consideration for the award.

Im cleaning up with SJSU ;) Actually, I think I have about 8 guys signed. The rest of my board should sign soon. Nothing great but im gonna get 20 recruits (mostly 2 stars). Hopefully, I can get the hell out of dodge before any of those guys see the field!

Hopefully this is the week that we get a kid to sign lol.

Yea i dont see how you could do any worse than not signing a damn guy yet!

By the end, i should have a decent recruiting class this year. I might be getting a couple of 4 star recruits. And i got a handful of 3 stars that will a Golden Panther next year.

I am going to fill all 16 spots. It will likely be 5 or 6 3* (1 JUCO), 9 or 10 2* (7 JUCO), and the remaining will be 1* JUCO. Hopefully, that results in a decent class. I won't get credit in the rankings for the guys that are JUCO, but they give me instant help.

We played at like 5 am CST last night, lol.

    ULM 30
    MTSU 27

It was a good game that went into overtime. My first and 2nd string RBs went down for the game with injuries so that left me a slow white boy as my starter for most of the 2nd half. He actually pulled off a great 40+ yard run and then scored! The ULM defense held MTSU to a FG in the first OT, then ULM scored on a short pass for a TD ending the game. It was fun and Cheez is a cool guy. I just need to pull out a win next week or the week after to get to 4 wins and hopefully not get fired.

I can't be in two leagues advancing at a rate of 24 hours, that is a little insane. This league will have to settle for a 36 hour pace. In addition Cheez when did you go to bed last night. You are driving this crazy advance schedule.

Well Memphis continues to blow leads to bad teams in the 4th quarter. I can only protect leads against good teams. Up 24-17 against UAB, I end up losing 30-27. Suck.

    Houston 24
    Tulane 38

Big upset in the Big Easy!! The Cougars jumped out to an early 17-0 lead, as the Green Wave was pathetic to start the game. But a late first half touchdown changed the momentum and a horrendous play call by Houston led to a Case Keenum fumble in the end zone, which was recovered by MLB Trent Mackey for a touchdown. Houston responded with a quick score to go back up by 10, but it all Tulane to finish out the game. HB Orleans Darkwa took over, rushing for 137 yards which opened up the passing game, as QB Ryan Griffin threw 3 td passes. Another Keenum turnover, this time a pick 6, sealed the deal.
