Army makes the Temple defense look silly. In a amazing feat of defense, Jared Hassin managed to run perfectly striaght and untouched for a 49 yard TD up the gut. Then on his next carry break off a 76 yard TD run.

Jared Hassin 10 carries 173 yards 2 TD
Malcolm Brown 7 carries 111 yards 1 TD
Marcus McInerny 7 carries 92 yards
Trent Steelman 9 carries 60 yards 2 TD

After a Bye Army its off to the Army-Navy game.

The Vandals' defense played outstanding shutting out the Aggies for over three quarters. For most of this game both teams played very poorly on offense. The Vandals started the game with an impressive drive finishing with a 1 yard TD run by Princeton McCarty. The score would remain 7-0 up until late in the third when the Vandals were finally able to break the Aggies down and Princeton Mccarty scored on a 4 yard TD run. In the fourth quarter the Aggies started showing some life, scoring on a 62 yard run by Robert Turbin. The Vandals would respond with a field goal making the score 17-7. The Aggies tried to respond with another quick score, but disaster struck when Matthew Harvey intercepted a pass and took it 58 yards for the game clinching score.

The Golden Panthers outlast UL Monroe in a double overtime thriller and stay unbeaten in conference play and have clinched a Sun Belt conference championship. FIU needed a 29 yard FG with 15 seconds left to force overtime. After both teams scored touchdowns on their first overtime possession, FIU HB Darriet Perry pounded in a 2 yard touchdown on 3rd and goal on FIU's 2nd possession and put the pressure on UL Monroe. The FIU defense finally showed up and forced UL Monroe to a tough 4th and 14. UL Monroe QB Kolton Browning had to force a deep pass into the endzone which was picked off sealing and FIU victory. FIU is now 9-2 on the year and 7-0 in conference play. Next week FIU goes on the road and takes on Middle Tennessee State in their regular season finale.

This game was controlled by the Red Wolves on both sides of the ball. The offense ran for 219 yards while the defense stifled the Blue Raiders only giving up 66 total yards of offense and only 11 on the ground. The Blue Raiders brought out the three rings as they turned the ball over 4 times, once on a fumbled pitch, and their tackling left Coach Cheez with an aneurism. The Red Wolves look to win their eight game of the season in two weeks vs Troy.
