SMU could have beaten me 100-3, and I would've been fine with me. My wife gave birth to our 3rd Saturday morning, and she was diagnosed right away with Down Syndrome and was transferred to another hospital's NICU. She seems to be doing well, and we are hoping that we will be home soon. After all...I have some business to handle with Recchem. I'm still upset about UCLA beating Oklahoma last year. :)

Congrats man...hope mom and baby are doing well! Let me know when you get settled back in your house and we'll knock our game with these lowly squads.

WMU gets a huge non-conference win right before MAC play starts. At first, the Broncos were moving the ball, but were unable to capitalize by scoring any touchdowns. FIU got a huge play from Hilton, a 68 yard score to make it 7-3. Then the unsung hero of the game would start his day. P Armer placed a punt right on FIU's 4 yard line. 3 plays later, QB Carroll was sacked for a safety and gone for the game due to injury (no word on if he will be back next week...). Two more touchdowns by the Broncs gave them a 19-7 lead, but backup QB Medlock would find TE Faucher for a 32 yard score on 4th down right before the half.

The 3rd quarter was a deadlock on both sides. WMU was able to get in a FG at the start of the fourth, making it 22-14. FIU then began their drive to tie the game, and got all the way into the redzone. But a pick by SS Hinds would end any scoring chance. HB Drake put the game away with a 82 yard score on a screen pass. "Getting this win was big. I didnt want to go into the heart of MAC games with a 1-4 record. It really keeps me off the hot seat" - Mexi.

    Western Michigan 29 - FIU 14

Black Knight Run Over Blue Devils

Army dominated from the start, taking their first play 79 yards on a Triple option to the FB. Hassin and Brown both go over 100 yards as Army goes over 360 on the ground.

Next Week Army should be challenged as NC State visits Westpoint

The Vandals expected to beat down North Texas, but barely escaped with a victory. North Texas opened the game with an impressive drive scoring a TD, the Vandals responded with a field goal. Then in the second quarter the Vandals and the Mean Green Eagles had scoring explosion. It started with a Princton McCarty 1 yard TD run, then the Mean Green Eagles scored on a 66 yard TD run by Brelan Chancelor. Then Princton McCarty took a pass 87 yards for a TD, then scored again on a 3 yard TD run. Then the Mean Green Eagles would score 17 unanswered points to take a 31-24 lead into half time. The score would remain 31-24 till the fourth quarter where Vandals FB Clayton Holmes scored on a 4th and goal play to tie the game. The Mean Green Eagles would wrestle the lead back making the score 38-31 with less than three minutes to go in the game. The Vandals would not give up, and QB Brian Reader threw a 42 yard TD pass to Preston Davis for the game tying score with 18 seconds remaining in regulation.

In overtime after intercepting a Mean Green Eagles pass, the Vandals appeared ready to win the game in first overtime, but the field goal bounced off the upright. In the second overtime both teams scored touchdowns. In the third overtime, the Vandals again intercepted by the Mean Green Eagles QB. This time though the Vandals would not blow their chance to win the game as Princeton McCarty scored on a 14 yard TD run.

    Stats

    HB Princeton McCarty:36-203-3 TDs
QB Brian Reader 24-43-491 yards-3 TDs, 3 Ints.
WR Preston Davis 5-132 yards-1 TD
    TE Tyler Elmo 8-158 yards
HB Princeton McCarty 3-99 yards-1 TD

No, we'll just wait on EA to fix the issue. The last thing I want to do is start manually keeping track of injuries.

There was none. N. Texas' offense really wasn't too bad it gave me some serious fits in the first half. I believe they can put up 70 against MTSU Cheez

Also, if he's not a senior, if you bench him then he'll want to transfer after the season

    Troy - 19
    UAB - 13

Love playing with one star teams as it is a grind. Just don't like losing :(. Anyway It was a defensive battle and besides a late int when I had to try and score a touchdown this was my best offensive outing. I have learned to just take what the defense gives me and it worked fine except my oline didn't help as I had little to no time on pass with 8 sacks. My defense was lit up with the hurry up offense of Troy. As Troy wins in a battle 19 -13.

I find the whole 70 points thing so ridiculously absurd that it's hard not to laugh at, honestly :)

I don't know how you can say your defense was lit up by the offense of Troy, you only gave up 19 points. That is 51 fewer points than MTSU, us "non mathematicians" can subtract Cheez In addition if your defense got "lit up" Troy must have burned the house down on MTSU.
