    2011 Schedule

If everyone can post their teams schedule for the upcoming season, I will work on putting together a preliminary schedule with user games so we are prepared to hit the ground running.

Plus, that way people can start talking smack now.:D

EDIT - Attached is the preliminary 2010 schedule. The following assumptions were made when putting this together:
    • Oklahoma switched with Iowa St in the Big 12 North, enabling Texas and OU to meet in the Big 12 title game.
    • Clemson switched with Miami in the ACC Coastal.
    • Fresno St replaced New Mexico in the MWC.
    • Nevada replaced Colorado St in the MWC.

I don't think mine would do any good Dru since I'm switching conferences. But you can give me anybody on my schedule, I don't care.

I'm home from work today and will work on schedules this afternoon. For those possibly switching with other teams/conferences I'll use the schedules of the teams you will be replacing.

Slick-I'm likely going to move OU to the big 12 North, do you know if there are any teams in the north that Texas plays every season?

Looking at their schedule the last 5 years they've had no teams in the north they play on a yearly basis... they're all rotational.

Guys, check the first post for the preliminary schedule for season 1 attached.

Where possible, I left certain OOC games that were vs big time CPU teams.

The remaining OOC games will be scheduled to ensure appropriately challenging schedules based on the strength of each persons team (ie - the MWC guys and Minnesota will have easier OOC CPU games than would a Texas or Ohio State).

Good work Dru. Would I be a total dick if I pointed out that I only had 5 home games and 7 away games? :D

Really I don't care, just fooling with you. What were the highlighted dates for?

Looks good Dru. You are welcome to throw whoever you want at my team, if you need any extra user games.

Didn't have much choice, that's the price you pay for having no conference user games and keeping Florida on your schedule.

Thanks, I'm hoping that the schedules in the game are the same. I was actually able to have everyone with 4 regular season user games, which is tough with the unbalanced ACC/Big 12 schedules.

The home/away schedule may need to still be tweaked, I'll take a look tonight.

The highlighted cells are conditional formatting in excel to make it easier for me to identify games that can be edited and to highlight user games.

Good job on the scheduling dru. But not trying to be an ass, why not switch me with Miami as I volunteered, that way I have FSU on a yearly basis, as I doubt I will win the division every year.

And Miami is the top team in the ACC.... And that switch making things close to even  Clemson, Miami, UNC, and GT vs FSU and VT?? All those schools are 4/5 stars and up and 89 plus.

As I said earlier today, I will volunteer to go to the Coastal which is all ready a disadvantage, but don't keep Miami there too. I want and can easily keep my matchup vs FSU by switching with Miami, and FSU will still have Miami on it's yearly schedule.

Shino, I'm getting the impression you really don't want to move to the ACC coastal.

Pep, if you are willing, can I move you over to the coastal? If you don't want to move either, we will leave you both in the same division.

I want to move.... Just move Me for Miami is all I am saying.

    1) FSU still has a yearly matchup with Miami

    2) I have a yearly rivalry user game with FSU even If I don't make the CCG.

    3) I feel like Clemson doesn't have to run a complete gauntlet in the division....

Also as a side not I noticed a lot of us has 13 games... I'm 100% fine with that, but I thought the NCAA only allows 12? Does the game allow 13? Like I said I did not play dynasty last year so I'm unsure... I just know typical 8+4 NCAA scheduling.

I will switch you for miami.

Let me check the schedules again, everyone should only have 12 games, I probably forgot to remove some OOC CPU games when finaling the user game schedules.

Your correct....the first four teams... Texas, Oklahoma, Michigan, Ohio St just need 1 CPU game removed.

Clemson and FSU was scheduled for 5 OOC games, but that shouldn't be an issue now. We had 4 OOC user games + 1 OOC CPU Rivalry + 8 Conference games.... Now that we should have our Conference user matchup, the 4 OOC user games will come down to 3 OOC user games and we'll also have 12 games... But I will play 13 if needed or possible.

New schedule is up in the first post.

Clemson is now switched with Miami.

I think I have the home/away and number of total games fixed now.

Trust me, 1-2 seasons into the dynasty and you'll realize that the user games, and not the CPU ones, make or break your season.
