I would but unfortunately SOny pulled a bitch move and wont allow any accounts that arent 14 days old to commish a league so we are on standyby for 2 weeks unless they change it. What I plan on doing is just setting up a grapefruit and cactus tourney this weekend in just play now games. I know I need all the practice I can get lol

haha awesome. Yeah spring training is pretty fun. There is one thing I like about baseball more than football....its incredibly hard to be cheesy in baseball games.

that game we played on hall of fame was ridiculous lol. Mike Pelfrey made his best Kerry Wood impersonation.

Im in for some spring training. I think I might opt for the Angels to wear their throwback California Angels hats if I decide to stick with the team.

I think we should go with hall of fame hitting. I think it will make things a bit more realistic.

Yeah I am against Hall of Fame, the strikeout rates will be WAY too high.

we will have to do sliders or something then. my first game on veteran I won 15-2 (20-8 hits), it was just way too easy. I bumped it up to HOF and then I lost 2-0 (8-4 hits)

not till probably a week before we start as thats what we will use our spring training tournament for so we can test things out and see what issues we may see come up. Expect some information on that sometime this weekend. I encourage everyone to play as much as you can against current league members

You're playing offline against the CPU, though, correct Markus? I find it's a little different when playing online against another user. I haven't played enough games online yet to voice an opinion, but I do get concerned when I hear the recommended use of HOF level... I've been tinkering with the Veteran level offline against the CPU and all of my games have been low scoring for me, and generally decent scoring for the CPU. LOL

right now im leaning towards All Star setting but I really havent had enough time on all star or HOF. Played 1 game on HOF and there were 30 strikeouts between both teams. Other 2 games I played on All Star and their were less strikeouts but at least people were putting the bat on the ball. I seriously doubt we will play on Veteran. As Doug mentioned the game does play different offline then online.

All-Star has been ultra sim for me in user games. Good mix of solid hits, strikeouts, ground balls and fly outs.

Yes Vols good game last night. I love the analog pitching but it's hard to paint the corners. How do you do that "cancel throw" manuver so well?????:D

Man, Im still trying to get used to that. I used to hit the button more than once just to make sure it was hit, so it's a habit I'm going to have to break. I did that damn throw cancel on a dropped third strike last night and looked at my hands like, "WTF?"
